I used to use OpenXR on a Reverb, but since that's gone I haven't bothered. More hassle than it's worth.
I too tried to run it with PSVR2 and couldn't get it running. Had a few people tell me it works but nobody actually showing it working.

 

OpenXR Toolkit definitely works with PSVR2 and is worth it just for the FFR alone.

 

Anyone who uses the Pico 4 headset and have the virtual desktop, can tell If there's a big diference from the pico conect app? Is image quality better? Thanks

 

The "live update element" or whatever it's ****ing called still is a big problem in VR and for any other setting where immersion is key.

I want to be fully immersed and not have a HUD, but it's impossible because the "live update element is impossible to remove. Even when you select minimal hud where you can move it, you still can't fully get rid of it. The most you can do is move it to the corner.

There are many cars where a team has clearly put a ton of work into making the huds work flawlessly and show things like ABS, TC, AND BRAKE BIAS. Having the "live update element" pop up directly over the wheel screen and block is it just a slap in the face for that team.

You guys should be helping each other out, not stepping on each other's work. This has been an issue since launch. please allow us to completely remove that live update element.

 

VD is a little bit sharper and clearer than Pico Connect (wired). There is a difference, but it's not so big anymore.
