I'd probably go with RDR2. I hadn't plyed RDR1 before and was totally unexperienced with games like that. The whole world in RDR2 has simply blown me away right from the very beginning.

I don't have a specific moment which I cherrish the most but the whole story of Arthur and - later - John.

Thank you all for repying. Mine would be either World of Warcraft or Guild Wars 1. 20 years ago these two were the MMORPG's to be. Technology advanced into better internet speeds, etc. It was totally possible to host a lot of people on a couple of servers and made it alive and immersive.

Teaming up with friends, guild mates, having fun on ventrillo or teamspeak or just in the chat. Exploring area's, downing enemies and getting lost in Stormwind or Ironforge were special. Both games felt so huge in comparion versus GTA3, for example. Crossing continents either by foot or mounts could take a couple of hours.

I tried WoW Classic, but the feeling of being amazed and being clueless never made an appearance. Yes, WoW or GW1 would be my choice if I could erase my memory.

    Project Cars 2

Finally upgraded from the Logitech G27 to Fanatec Csl DD 8nm.

Bentley Speed 8 @ Zolder is monumental fun

I had read some posts about driving in snow also, here is my fully fun recommendation for tons of fun....Renault 5 Turbo @ snowy Nords (setting it to specific time of day makes it even more beautiful)

    Ferrari 333SP @ Mugello....heartifull.

Apologies for the off-topic comment but I couldn't resist noting my main frustration with LMU that has made me put it aside for now: you cannot choose grid sizes -- instead it forces you to always use a full grid which is anywhere from 13 to 19 cars per class. I get that it's centered around endurance racing but for people like myself who don't have a ton of time for racing, and even doing a one hour sprint race is unlikely, but yet still love WEC and the cars and tracks involved, it's a dealbreaker to constantly be forced into full size grids. For example if I only have time to do a 30 minute sprint race at Imola, it devolves into a convoy around the track because there are just too many cars. Every other racing game/sim has the option to set the grid size, but for some reason LMU still doesn't have it.

This post was moved from Development Blog to General Chat as it was off-topic

Is it true that the game will have cross platform multiplayer racing? That could be huge!

I'm looking forward to Project Motor Racing, as long as it has VR support.
I hope to see it on PS VR2 as well - the racing games on that platform are GT7 but other than GT7 it's just a bunch of low-quality racing games.

According to Straight4, the collaboration with Reiza no longer exists with the game.

The colaboration was with Slightly mad studios, don't really see why they have to keep it for PMR. I'm sure some of the models on PMR will come from ams2 and pcars, but at the same time they're also using models from RSS.
Also just because they have access to the model doesn't mean they have the license to add it

That's really really unfortunate to hear. Reiza managed to fix madness more than SMS managed to break in its creation and evolution lol

Whatever it means. We don't know what the deal was in the first place and I personally didn't ever get any impression that somekind of active colloboration is going on outside maybe trading assets that probably helped to speed up PMR development.

It's going to be interesting to see what happens after AMS2 development comes to it's eventual end .. what will be the next step for Reiza, did the deal give Reiza option to use PMS engine for AMS3 in future or something like that.

ps. I have huge doubts about PMR actually releasing on fall, I have feeling they end up delaying it just before the supposed release date. For a modern game, especially sim, the development time have been very short and I don't they have that huge of a team compared to everybody else.

    Agreed.
I uninstalled PCars2 after giving it many tries over the years. Imagine how cool it would be if there was a way to implement AMS2's physics and AI in PCars2, PCars2' content + AMS2's improvements would be a great combination. Personally I'd love to see all real tracks from PCars2 in AMS2.
I'm looking forward to hearing news on which tracks will be added to AMS2 this year.

PC2 vs AMS2 is a prime example where a game is made with passion for fans is just so much better. Where profits are the path to deliver the good game, not the other way around (game to deliver profits being a priority) as that leads to poor execution and cutting corners where they shouldn't be. We all know where exceeding those track limits leads to :D
