Hi all, Just a quickie. I have filled up my 5 Custom Championship slots. So, I want to make more but don't really want to lose the ones I have already made as I will probably want to use them again with different cars. Is there any way of finding these files in the AMS2 folder and moving them elsewhere, so that next time I start up the game I am back to 5 empty slots? In future I could remove one of my current Champs and replace it with one of my backed up ones. Does such a thing exist in AMS2? Cheers
Yes, just go to ...\Documents\Automobilista 2\savegame\[player ID]\automobilista 2\singlechamps on your PC and copy/paste the contents somewhere safe
Hello there, If I am correct you can back up 'Singlechamps' in your AMS2 folder in my documents. Also you can back up the whole folder instead. Marius Edit: Ninja-ed by Harzirushdi
Thanks guys but when I looked in there it just has one file, even though I have five different Champs.
I think I figured out the issue, you have to start the championship for it to appear in the folder, then you can back it up. Not ideal, since you can't modify the backed-up championships, but maybe that can be a feature request?
There is a file for the modified/un-started championships. I brought my championship templates to 1.6 when I started a fresh AMS2 documents folder for the new release. Away from my pc at the moment, but will have a look over the weekend...
That would be great! Thanks. Regarding @harizrushdi comment, maybe having free practice in first race of the Championship and starting that then coming out might be enough. However, hopefully @ChasteWand can show how we back up un-started Champs.
