That’s what I think too. An Aston would be very fun

No idea if this has been suggested before, but the ability to re-position the ICM menu would be greatly appreciated. Having just built up my new rig, the ICM is partially obscured by my wheelbase and mount. Makes pitstop strategy adjustments a real pain!

IIRC it’s not really a hud overlay (coding wise) so needs more work to be able to move

I so wish AMS2 could have Virtual Safety Car so that every full-course-yellow isnt just involving a real safety car. Especially if there isnt a bad incident.

How about also making a GT4 Gen 2 like with the GT3 class? It should consist of the following cars:
    Alpine A110
    BMW M4 (G82)
    Audi R8
    Porsche Cayman GT4
    Lotus Emira
    Ginetta G56 EVO
    Mclaren Artura
    Mercedes AMG.
"These two if you can sort out the licensing"
    Aston Martin V8 Vantage
    Ford Mustang S650

It would make sense for a game called AMS2 to have some Aston Martin supercars. :)

chip-ganassi-racing-dallara-ir-05-honda-franchitti-16325.jpg With Indy 500 coming around the corner, something I so wish this game could have it is this car.
AMS2 having some amazing Champ Cars and with an Indycar based almost on the DW12, we should have Formula USA based of from this beauty with its vibrant V8 engine. Franchitti was my favourite in Indycar no doubt if you ask me xD

I have been thinking about this for a few days, an FUSA Gen 4 with the Dallara IR-05 chassis would be awesome, and give enough cars to get to 33 for the 500.

Please make the grass less slippery, no matter how realistic it is at the moment, but leaving without using the reset function is a pain, I have never encountered anything like it, sand and gravel also feel like ice. and I understand that we are on heated slicks in many cases, sometimes it is easier to leave the race than to leave the track

Shareable championship presets files! Clearly they're stored somewhere in the game so I'd love if they were a separate file I could send to friends or download from others on the forum here. - or custom single race presets in general.

Steam workshop for these seems like a great way to incorporate these features as well.

Option to set number of mandatory pitstops per race.

Currently only option is for one, and to set number of tires changed and even that max is set to 4, but would be nice to have option for 8 so drivers have to do two full tire stops.
Or an option with more mandatory stops but tires set to zero, so two stop and go pits per race.

QoL material, in PC2 there was a "favourites" or save singe race presets, where you could have 5 different single player race presets VS ai.
IDK the code or the inner workings behind this, but this would be very welcome in AMS2, both for single and multiplayer when creating sessions.

They also had the race engineer but I imagine it being too inconsistent, AMS2 is too evolved for such a simple "bot thing" to be meaningful or helpful but it could provide tips for beginners on how to setup tyre camber and pressures, giving them all the info needed to make the game more newbie friendly.

Hi, I'm a big AMS fan.
To make it even better, little things like the in-game time and weather forecast in the ICM would be great.
The time progression in the race settings based on the 24-hour format would also be helpful.

What I would like to see in AMS2 are P2P (point to point) tracks. Also hill climb and downhill locations, like Pikes Peak.

What point to point track would even make sense to have in a racing game like AMS2 ?
Also i doubt Pikes Peak will ever come to AMS2 since Polyphony Digital has the exclusive license.

Given the amount of various machinery available in AMS2 a Goodwood hill climb would be a decent fit for time trials for example.

Having a mode where lobby starts the "lap" at the same moment but without seeing opponents and shown their position at the end would be a very nice new mode to play. Each round is scored and after "n" laps the lobby is done and fastest hill climber gets the glory.

In PC2 there were P2P tracks, California Highway, Azure Coast. I thought of more of these and similar. It's true that they were fantasy tracks, but at least they were there. The same could be said for integrating fantasy hill climbing tracks into the game.

I feel like the ‘content pretty much every month’ comment might need to be expunged from the internet. :D

I have no problem with that, Reiza owes me nothing. Plus mods are filling the gaps very nicely. So I’m here to say well done modders.
