    Hi all,

It's been a very long time since I last used my sim racing equipment. I've also upgraded my PC as well. Today when I went in to try to setup everything again, well, I can't get the wheel to calibrate at all!

I've literally tried everything I can to get the wheel to work. I updated all the firmware in Fanatec and can calibrate the wheel and pedals there. When I go into AMS2 and go to setup the wheel and pedals, the only thing that works are the pedals.

    Under options and controls, AMS2 automatically has them set to;
    Type: Wheel
    Make: Fanatec
    Model: CSW V2.5
    Pedal type: Separate

Then I go to Edit assignments and try to steer left or right, but the only response I get are multiple inputs detected. But, that's only after I hit the end limits on the wheel. I can go down and select the gas, brake and clutch and assign those binds without issue.

For the life of me I can't figure it out. I know this happened way back a few years ago; However, I can't find the solution. I've literally tried every model to see if it'd work. If I don't select the pedals the wheel will calibrate but then the pedals won't work....

    Stumped, please help..

    Hello there,

I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble binding your steering wheel. Please follow these steps to resolve the issue:

    1. Set the settings as shown in the picture.
    2. Navigate to your Fanatec drivers and set the wheel rotation to 180 or less.
    3. Alt-tab back to the game and bind the left and right controls.
    4. Alt-tab back to the Fanatec drivers and set the wheel rotation back to 'auto'.
    5. Alt-tab back to the game and go to 'Calibrate wheel'.
    6. Rotate the wheel to the left and save the settings.
    7. Rotate the wheel until it shows '1080' and save again.
    8. Calibrate the pedals.
    9. Bind all the peripherals again.
You should now be ready to enjoy racing! If you encounter any other issues or if this solution doesn't work for you, please don't hesitate to reply.

    Thank you,
    Marius

Under "Make" select Custom. Under "Pedal Type" set to Separate (if not working try Combined).
