Hi, thanks for sharing, I tested it in Imola with the 720 gt3, it has improved perhaps compared to before, but I don't think it is real in certain situations, like the descent that leads to Rivazza, the steering is stiff as soon as you enter, it should lighten, with Joaquim's FFB setting it seems real to me, but I imagine it is very difficult to make a 100% real file :(
Even in medium-slow curves I feel the car little, and when it starts it is too late.
I appreciated the braking, when braking it gives me excellent sensations in the steering, the best I have tried. What parameter is the braking?
For now I am using Joaquim Pereira v22, it seems to me the most balanced and real, but the braking is better rFuktor "?" experimental 3.
Thanks guys for sharing, I wouldn't know where to start to modify the data in the file!

Thank you for sharing your thoughts!
Which wheel bases is this on?
I will try that combination later.
Look for "brake_feel" in the file. You can change the value for it.

    Best,

    Karsten

    Simucube2 pro.

In Joaquim's file there is no such parameter, it is very different, how can I implement the braking feel?

Was in China this week and collected my EVO PRO 18nm

coming from an ALPHA 15nm with Joaquim v17 custom FFB

Is there any EVO PRO owners here?
What custom FFB and settings do you use?

    thanks

    "rFuktor ? experimental 3.1"

Fixed version, "3" had a problem. Same description as "3":

    * Core rack calculation made in a new, hopefully better way.
    * "Rolling resistance" added. The tires turning resistance is now natural at standstill and still present at speed, although slighter. Adds some additional tire feeling at all times.
    * Very wrong "inertia" effect has been removed. "Gyro" is now added, although set at 0 for now. The impact is minimal, so it will require fine tuning to add value.
    * Downforce steering impact on bumps adjusted.
    * Slip angle more correctly calculated.
    * Balance is working again. The nasty "madness bug" killed it completely. However balance is also set at 0 for the moment, as it will require fine tuning to make any sense.

Good, improved from 3, but there is the braking \ steering effect that pushes too hard to return to center.

Yes, I was wondering earlier. You said you like that brake feeling, but it's one of the things I did not adjust yet and is a little much as it is right now.

It seems to me that in version 3 you didn't feel it that much, I'm talking about the steering wheel pushing towards the center... when I was talking about the good braking I meant the maximum pinch with the wheels straight.

I'm curious which wheel base and what ingame settings you use?
Did you try lowering "gain" ingame? The different ffb profiles require different settings.

    Ok,

Same base as me. Then on the base set friction, damping and inertia all to 0.
    Ingame, damping to 0.
And ingame gain to 22-25 for formula 1, slightly higher for gt1 and higher, maybe 30 or 35 for gt3.
LFB at 0 as start too. That's important.
At least these settings as a starting point.
Also, ingame FX at 20, when gain has been lowered.

OK I'll try, right now in Italy it's 2:30 am, late at night!!! but a small percentage of filters are needed in the SC2.

Hi, I followed the advice and changed the filters to zero, I didn't think so, NICE! lol
I also did my best, I would have done even 3 tenths less but I pinched the line in the high variant.
I would say that I will play like this :)

Hi, does anyone know if there is a way to reduce this constant vibration? What is the parameter that causes these high-frequency vibrations? I have already changed a bunch of values, but I always end up destroying the FFB.

No, it happens in all cars. I have already reduced almost all the effects in the file, road texture, scrub, tear, and nothing changed. I think it's some parameter related to the suspension, but I don't know what to change without ruining the whole feel of the track. Maybe it's in the advanced part of the configuration file. I really liked the rFuktor custom FFB, but this vibration is too much for me.

Maybe try the latest experimental file and see if it's better? Would be interesting to know, actually. If you go that route, expect that the settings might slightly vary from what you're used to. Hopefully only slightly.
What settings in-game are you running?
Did you also try reducing "road_rolling_slip_feel" to 0?

Thanks for the tip, I reduced slip_feel, texture, motor, scrub, tear, and micro bumps to 0. The vibration is still present, but now at an acceptable level (at least my wheel doesn't feel like an orbital sander on my desk anymore, haha). But I can't increase the damping to more than 30, because I start to feel a vibration as if I had a wobbly wheel, especially at low speeds.

    My in-game settings are 35, 0, 20, 30.

I also tested a bit the experimental version. It's not bad, but I really like feeling the bumps of the track and how the suspension behaves. In this case, I still prefer the Rfuktor 1.2.3 config with my tunings.

Hi daniel, thanks for sharing this further work. It's always an improvement... now I can still understand the loss of grip of the car.
I notice a small difference compared to the V7000 Topspeed 1 version where I liked it more. When I went up with the wheel on a low and flat curb I felt this effect on the steering wheel, while in version 2 I don't feel this effect, how can I restore this difference in the custom.txt file?

    Hi and thanks again
