Me getting rearended

 

Not "better" but different.

 

I thought that was a response to the RacingLegend1234’s getting “rearended” comment

 

Don‘t know if it‘s really funny:
I was driving in an online multiclass race at Sebring and I was up in front due to crazy circumstances and I was telling myself „Easy, relax! Keep it on track!“ and I was doing well, until the very last last corner on the last lap, where I was making way for the faster class cars. I spun, hit the wall and did a 360 when trying to go back to the racing line.
P2 was coming up fast, taking the lead, than spun himself and I got the class win.

Funny that you wrote this, as I finally got to drive LMU after the update and this was my first thought: The way the rear comes off feels like the GT3 cars in AMS2! It happens to me from time to time that the rear snaps out of nowhere, with no chance to react or even save the car and it‘s been the same now for me in LMU. Overall the GT3‘s feel good to me in both games, I would be happier without the snapping, but this could of course also be happening because my lack of skill.
What I also noticed is that I‘m super slow in LMU now with the GT3 cars, I was always a midfield driver in midfield splits, now I can hardly keep up, even if I felt good on the lap.

 

In a weird way I miss the Wild West-style inconsistency of Assetto Corsa mods, tracks especially. Slipping through a crack in the geometry and falling into the hollow earth was a pretty common DNF on certain tracks.

Overtake has turned into a cesspool of haters, and Kenny's latest post shows they're just fine with that. It's all about the clicks.

 

I certainly agree with you. I am less familiar with Traxion because I often check out Overtake for downloads, but I'm checking out Traxion more frequently now.

That said, I still find it weird that there is nothing on the official Reiza forum.

 

I just read the overtake article and my god. I didn't think RD could've gotten any worse in the comments but here we are... Genuinely speechless

 

Urgh, I've only managed the first page of the comments and had to use bleach on my eyes. It still can't be unseen.

We're currently in a golden age of simracing with so many games/hardware to choose from and yet some still demand more and more for less and quicker too.

Happens here too but at least mods here are top notch and kill such "opinions" usually before it has a chance of escalating.

 

The overtake guys run weekly races on ams2 with the formula cars on Fridays and also sprint races on the Saturday nights, they are open to all and great fun, we always struggle for racers so be great if anyone from here fancied joining us! It’s completely free.

 

To be fair, RD has been a cesspool of hate for a long time now.

I recommend Doug DeMuro’s video on the Aston Martin Valkyrie (can recommend his channel in general). If you are a car enthusiast his channel is gold.

 

Guys, a question for all the members who like to try to guess what will come in the update, (like me), just to help pass the time and have something cool to read, (since Renato didn't write anything to us). What do you think will come new in the update, except the content of course, like, I'll give you an example. I believe we can have the Qualy in the format of F1, or at least in the format of the endurance, with separate categories, or (what I want so much) Q1, Q2, and Q3, some are already expecting a change of drivers, so guys, what would you like or expect and or believe will come in this next update?
