Bug Reports - Automobilista 2 (Read the Opening Post)

It’s definitely not the DRS activating automatically, as I’ve checked the wing operation both from a third-person view and from inside the car — the activation is signaled by the indicator light, and that doesn’t turn on.

 

Track & Layout Used: tested on laguna seca, le mans, spa, interlagos
Car Used: GINETTA G57 gen1/gen2
Applicable Settings: everything
Report: During driving using the first-person camera, the engine sound cuts out after exceeding 5,000 RPM.

 

I tested driving on default settings, and the car is clearly undrivable at the moment. At the beginning of this week, before the update, this problem didn’t exist. So please take 5 minutes and, if you can, check for yourself how the Sigma P1 G5 handles now. This is definitely not an issue on my end.

 

Track & Layout Used: montreal and spielberg
Car Used: f-ultimate gen 2
Applicable Settings: any
Report: Black screen without warning, the game continues to run but the screen remains black
Steps to reproduce: This happened to me in the last two online races on the LFM platform. After making a pit stop to change tires, a couple of laps passed and the screen went black. The rest of the cars could be heard passing in the background, so I assume the game was still running. I use AMD hardware, and it's asking me to report it because it thinks there was a malfunction.

Track & Layout Used:Monza / Daytona (seems to happen in any track)
Car Used: P1 Ginetta G58 Gen 1 / Gen2
Applicable Settings: No extra setting
Report: Audio - Engine sound above 5600 rpm is broken and quiet in cockpit view. External Chase sound is OK. Other cameras have same problem
Steps to reproduce: Drive the Ginetta G58 Gen1 or 2 on any track.

Note: Confirmed by other player on different PC/steam account. Tried to check the files by steam app / restarted PC before posting a problem.

Thanks will do that. Just checked the SSD and DDR, no issues found, good drive health an stable memory.

 

I don’t want to create a new ticket because it’s very likely that someone has already done that. I just want to inform you that the exact same sound issue occurs on the Sigma P1 P2.

 

- F1 physics still act like they have some sort of traction control, wheel spin after corner exits are minimal and you can full throttle every hard corner in the 2nd gear without a worry - class V10 Gen1 is the worst case

- F1 HiTech gen2 cars balance in the same class are bad and not true to their data - since 1.6 update

- CARTs 00' and 98' have bad shaped 3D models of the Lola cars

 

New tests done.

I did a steam files check today. 22 were flagged as corrupted.
Launched the game after downloading those files, and to my surprise, the game is using the right CCD (ccd0) now, which it never did before. And that's a pretty good stuff. No more process lasso hooking ^^.
Performance though is still an issue, and game is suffering from heavy random stuttering, dunno how to reproduce.

 

Track & Layout Used: Nurburgring 24hrs
Car Used: Porsche GT3 Gen2
Applicable Settings: N/A
Report: Left the pits for the outlap, and am unable to complete a lap, as the car hits an invisible tyre barrier on the last turn before the final straight, although I stayed on the right side of where the barrier is meant to be. Tried 10 tens and same result, and can’t complete the outlap of the 24hrs circuit!!
Steps to reproduce: Pick a car, and see what happens, on the outlap.
