Do those cars have adjustable radiator openings? Not sure what you are suggesting?

Just asking for enabling the Radiator Opening option again as in version 1.5.
Those cars might not have adjustable radiator openings. However, they used race tape to partially cover the inlets (see attached foto), likely to prevent over-cooling and with fingers crossed reducing drag.
When running the Formula Trainer Advanced in cold conditions (e.g. Mid October, Brands Hatch) your water and oil temps are quite low as per telemetry data.

You can even find papers online discussing Formula Ford wind tunnel tests with race tape application. Probably to convince you to buy the magic tape . I don't know.

Shouldn't be a big deal to enable it again, and be it only for the immersion.

PLEASE add more gamepad customization options. More specifically analog linearity (like the option in Assetto Corsa) and options to make the steering more responsive, ESPECIALLY when counter steering... Note that I'm not asking for any assistance settings whatsoever, simply more responsiveness and customization for gamepads.

Edit: While I'm at it, may I also ask for unrestricted wheel rotation? It's a good piece of visual feedback seeing your virtual driver correctly rotating the virtual wheel and not just limiting it to 180º full lock...

You should check the thread below:
Gamepad Support - Analysis, Suggestions, Wishes

People have been asking for gamepad improvements since the game launched back in 2020, the bold part is something I've asked many times since I got the game in 2021. From my understanding improved gamepad support is at the bottom of their list of priorities.

About virtual wheel limit rotation, you can fix that by setting up your gamepad as custom wheel (I set mine to 300 degrees).

on the topic of gamepad support i would love to see advanced button assignments like ACC has.. the shift key, standard press and timed press greatly improved the number of functions a button limited controller can perform.

You know what would be neat?

If the pits were populated with people/mechanics/workers in the same way the grand stands are populated, so as to not create a bigger demand on the graphics - I would even remove people from the grandstands and add them to the pits if that's what it takes. But like, really thick with people, you know?

It would add a ton of atmosphere, I think.

Kansai GP and Classic still have the same last chicane on the thumbnail. Classic layout has a different chicane but the thumbnail does not reflect that.

here's another quirk, 100% nice to have, and also, 100% not a priority since it involves mods.

As it turns out, when a mod car that's been added to an existing Reiza class of car, despite the new car showing up on the timings and select screen as part of the same class, on legacy tracks (LeMans) the game does still recognize the new car is it's own separate class. However, on the new tracks (Road Atlanta), the game does properly merge everything together as expected.

So, whatever the new tracks are doing, hopefully the older tracks can do as well! lol

I can change every weather with the joystick on my wheel apart from Hazy where I need to use my mouse.

If you're noticing it on Le Mans and not Road Atlanta is because there is a different version of the cars when you are on a low down force tracks even if the cars don't change, they get recognized as LDF versions of the cars vs a track like Road Atlanta where they are at their default version.

oooh, that's a good point. Wonder what would have to change in the mod car to make it recognized as an ld version of the same car...

Nothing is changing with the mod cars, as far as I know they don't have LDF variants of the cars available, but the Reiza cars do, so if you take some mod GTEs and put them in the same class as Reiza's GTEs for example they will show in the same class in the menus and at normal tracks like Road Atlanta. But when you go to a track like Le Mans or Daytona Reiza's low down force version of their cars will get loaded and you won't see it until you're on track when their icon slightly changes (last time I check) and their name changes. Even if it's the same car like we have with the GT3 Gen2 or LMDhs their ID changes compared to the mod cars. I was never able to figure out how to get them recognized as the same class regardless of what track you use, but if someone figures it out it would go a long way in being able to use mods with official content seamlessly.
