    This will depend on if your router supports NAT Loopback, if it doesn't support that, joining from the same pc isn't gonna work unfortunately.

    Not sure with the direct joining from a link that is now possible if you could use your internal IP as the address, haven't tried that myself, but i have a feeling that might not work.

    Can you share your server.cfg file so I can test locally?

    Further to @Roy Niessink point, your ISP could also be using something like CGNAT which from my undertstanding this can cause game server hosting issues - Carrier-grade NAT - Wikipedia

    I have uploaded the server.cfg file and also will looking into the CGNAT although I never had any problems with setting up a Assetto Corsa server , although probably a completely different method

    That server.cfg might have been a different one as it contained different settings from your initial info.
    Anyway, I made some adjustments to it and can confirm that I was able to join the lobby, AI drove different vehicles within the only two classes available and It also appears in the online.log. Might need to check your port forward settings and local firewall (on windows you can temporarily disable it and check).

    Emperor Server AMS2 Server Manager is a game changer. Been using it for years after getting frustrated with all the issues trying to modify the server.cfg file.

    I dont mind paying for emperor software server but non of my ports are showing as open in online port checker.

    every port including server, dns, http ports such as 443 and 80 are showing as closed. my Internet Service provider is not using CGNAT.

    I even turned the firewall off. The ISP even turned off Parental control lol. im laughing because the tech guy was reduced to giving me that sort of help and they charged me £9.99 for it.

    * edit; the ISP have said they have checked the router and the ports are enabled and i need to contact the gaming software company lol. They literally do not listen when i tell them i cannot ping the ports using portchecker.co. or any other online port checker

    anybody know why the rx tracks dont show up to the host ingame?

    You've probably set a number of players/Ai that's higher than the amount of gridslots, RX tracks only allow up to a total of 8 cars on them.

    It depends on the track/pit boxes. You can check each track in game or visit the AMS2 Fandom Wiki.AMS2 Tracks and layouts

    that is what i was asking. how many starting boxes are there on the stt layouts. the wiki does not show that.

    All STT tracks have 20 gridslots

    If you have the http api enabled in your dedi config you can always get that data along with the default date for that track directly from the dedi on the local machine it's running on. (can be opened up to listen externally too but I wouldn't rush to advise you do that unless you know how to secure it yourself)

    The default dates are usually one from a real world high profile event for that circuit so will giove you a good idea of the best time of year to race there for weather and temperatures.

    Most sensible browsers will format that raw json and give yiou tools to filter/search in it.

    Hi, I am having trouble getting my AMS2 Dedi to show in the browser.

    Latest AMS2 Dedi build from Steam (July 2), Latest Emperor client.

    Changed TCP/UDP ports for the server. Changed the server and event name/details. Enabled UPnP. No change with any of these troubleshooting steps. My server will not show up - and yet, the Server Logs show no errors or issues with server startup whatsoever.

    The server was working flawlessly a few weeks ago when I hosted a few open lobbies at the end of June - so I'd wager a change to the July 2 build has borked it. Made zero changes myself before the problem arose, other than updating the Dedi client automatically through Steam.

    Emperor's support guys have no clue, and pointed me to this thread - so here I am. Would love to get my server up and running again - who else is going to run Brazilian protos in Pub lobbies ;)

    might be worth trying to change the "Server browser pings/minute" in Steam from "automatic (5000)" to a lower number, 1500 seems to work well for most people, but you might need a lower value.

    Lately there has been an influx of new people, and there are probably a lot more servers/lobbies in the list now, which could cause yours to not show
