For me is AMS2 the simulator and I don’t care and do not buy payed early access beta simulators where you have to pay for DLC addons. AMS2 is fun to play with and feels really good to me and has a lot of content

 

AC Evo early access launch was a fiasco, they tried to generate hype but with the ACC kind of sim experience and mentality regarding graphics, optimization and ffb and physics feel, instead of capitalizing on the success of AC1 to make AC2...

TBH I kinda wish Reiza had been able to pickup an engine like AC1 and make AC2... with the kind of content and experience you have in AMS2...

And most people forget about AMS1... but rFactor was cool, mods, etc... but AMS1 brings everything in 1 neat little optimized package and even adding mods there is quite easy, and cars have many dif versions of themselves to choose from etc...

LMU in a certain way, could have been the result of Reiza picking up rFactor2 engine, but then we forget the licenses etc... I think the biggest hassle is more the burocracy behind everything. There is way too much stuff we consumers don't see on the surface but there is a huge iceberg behind.

 

The only thing I can think there might be a related connection with is something to do with LMU licenses including access for the Valkyrie. It might be the case that they somehow have an agreement for 'first dibs' on releasing that car. But, perhaps that isn't how it works.

 

I don‘t understand why people respect Reiza for AMS1 e.g. but when it comes to the Madness Engine (ME) they forget that it‘s still the same Reiza studio, the same bunch of sim racers and motorsport nerds.
They saw the potential and went for it, this journey with all the frustrations paid out in the end, what they‘ve achieved with the ME is phenomenal, and they only just started.

You can talk all day about slip curves, but the tyre physics and the handling overall are fantastic and much more realistic than people think.

That‘s still the underlying problem in a lot of discussions around AMS2 and the ME. Unfortunately.

 

Guys I'm quite happy to see a message today on LFM regarding the complains I had the other night with some post that got here from people crashing me on the last lap. One of the guys got a 28 day ban, I'm waiting on the other yet but this seems like good news the stewards take this seriously.

 

Is Reiza on vacation or is there anything else coming this month? Question for a friend

A very nice talk on modelling vehicle physics - really cleared up some of the stuff I couldn't quite grasp when I had a go at reading some of the Pacejka book.

 

I love the fact Renato engages with us on here really sets this forum apart

I’m fine, i play a bit lmu since last update, i wait for 1.7 of course (but i can wait still), the valkyrie on lmu is wonderful, the ffb and tyre model is great so yeah

 

Then you will probably have to wait until 2026
