100%!! the number of things people randomly think are 'unrealistic' in our favourite motorsports simulator (like groups of cars sticking together during races) that are proven wrong by literally watching any race is constantly surprising to me.
2 weeks ago I visited Inje speedium (home of Hyundai N festival) to watch Lamborghini super trofeo Asia. My old friend Jung Woo Lee has attended to the race. He is a pro driver of Korean stock car, Hyundai TCR at Japanese Super taikyu (endurance) and Super trofeo Asia. Lee's #7 wrapped by @yongjae Racing slick tire and others. Long battle is going.. https://www.youtube.com/live/iGNhN1eCQDk?si=dNosdwbkBtv2Ainq Finally Lee got P3!! On the same day, the Radical Cup, Inje Endurance and BMW M Class races were also held. Whole events: https://www.youtube.com/live/eL0sYZfvusQ?si=Shir9GdJDhSUC-P9 I hope to see this under rated track on AMS2 someday..
NASCAR officials have granted a waiver to Austin Hill, officials confirmed to NASCAR.com Tuesday night, allowing the No. 21 Richard Childress Racing Chevrolet driver to remain eligible for the Xfinity Series Playoffs despite missing last weekend’s race at Iowa Speedway. https://www.nascar.com/news-media/2025/08/05/xfinity-series-2025-austin-hill-rcr-playoffs-waiver/
Don't worry, it is highly unlikely AMS2 won't have the new Stock Car Brasil in the game at some point, after all it is the origin of it all, isn't it? But to not recognize the current state of the series as an embarassment is just surreal, especially when drivers, teams and sponsors themselves are complaining about it. Nascar Brasil series, on the other hand, seems to be doing fine.
I wouldn't call it shameful at all. I see it as upgrade failures.Teams have to complain, but that doesn't mean it's shameful. all these flaws will be fixed . Stockcar became incredibly beautiful and modern.
I don't know. I have my doubts and low expectations. New cars (chassis/mechanics/electronics), new branding, and the planned inclusion of DRS. StockCar in AMS2 has never been a success since its launch, and there are also licensing issues. Disorganization/Delays. The cars were announced in 2024, and the teams only got their first glimpse of them a few days before the first race. So far, it's a negative image for the general public, but what about the teams that depend on sponsors? And the manufacturers?
