I prefer the prior "blended" version because the tire feels more connected or in the track. I have an easier time catching a loose rear on the blended version. This version feels more on top of the track and not as connected or in the track, a more floaty feeling. I do feel what the rear is doing nicely but it seems to light to recover some of the times when the rear end steps out. Just a vagueness to this file that does not instill as much confidence to ride that edge feeling as the prior file.

The only car that has zero flying feel to it in AMS2 is McLaren F1 GTR. Group C does well too. Unfortunately the rest still suffer a tiny bit of that nasty feel even though there was a massive improvement after the last major update. I don't think if they can ever fix that issue in AMS2. It's in the roots

There are a few things you can do about it. Changing the car setup will improve it. Adjusting the camera movements in the game will improve it. But I was able to improve or even eliminate it most with the custom file. I mean the connection between car and track. But there are cars that still have that "boat feeling," and for me, that includes the GT3 cars. Compare these cars to a GTE car, which works much better for me, and I can feel the contact between the car and the track. But as I said, with many different cars in Ams2, I have a fantastic feeling that no other simulation can offer. Reiza is constantly working on improving and expanding it, and I'm sure this isn't the end :)

Combining versions, trying to get the best combination still.

    * Suspension simple, but slightly more relaxed.
    * Tire feel back to how it was @Terry Ayers .
    * Further attempts at both good oversteer, but without explosion/wrecking of hands.

    Karsten,
To my subjective taste, this file feels much more balanced yet, still communitive with good tire feel and feedback. It is very enjoyable to drive. The only thing I have not felt is the explosive wrecking of hands in either file. It may simply be down to my lower end DD and the relaxed settings that I use in game. My simagic settings also do not include any mechanical filtering. Overall, this is a very nice FFB feeling with the informative information to help with driving in this amazing SIM.

For me, i have issue with braking I often oversterr after braking at the limit and turn. The best example will be the alpine gt4.

Last version of this file. No more spamming from me.

    * Suspension slightly improved. Combining the newest with the first rFuktor2 file.
    * Slight understeer strengthening around the edge.

If anybody's up for it and not yet dead by version-spam, please help me decide which of the rFuktor2 files is the better one. I need to pick one. All the variants can just stay here, but it's good to have "the one".

To me it's splitting hairs between this file and the last one. I like them both and keep bouncing back and forth between the two. I can't explain why because they feel so similar, but I will be keeping this last file in my AMS2 document folder. There is just something about it that just feels so right. If you would not have produced so many excellent version's it would be easy LOL :)

For me personally, I still prefer the blended version. Less aggression and more control with snap oversteer particularly with open wheel cars. My go to for now.

I'm so into the original rFuktor2 that I haven't even touched any other files. It's a masterpiece. I just built my entire car setup around it from the scratch. I'll try the newer version this weekend

    Hey @Knok56 ,

What is the dislike on the last post/question in regards to?
I should've posted the parts in more posts, I guess.

But is it the file? The ending of version spamming? Or the question?

Yeah, I'm completely undecided between most of these versions. The first version is just as good as the rest, in general, mostly minor fixes/changes. For example engine fx, suspension feel and stand still rack feel.
The setups I don't think will need any adjustments between them either.

Love the first final version. One question though if you don't mind, how can I reduce the peak force from within the file?
Have had to reduce gain in game so much that I'm losing some finer detail now.
    Thanks.

It depends what you mean by peak force?
But try lfb at 50% and det gain so driving straight at high speed feels good.

Okay thanks for your reply. I mostly drive F1 so thats why I have set it to 360. But I will try setting it to 900 and see if the problem goes away

Really a lot of choice, too much? of choosing ffb files, a nice work, difficult to choose as a result, thanks to the developers!

Ok thanks, will give that a try.
The issue I have is the overall weight is very high even with the gain turned down to 30 in game. My base is 20nm and tend to run it around 14 nm but get large spikes in the force when crashing or recovering from a spin as the tires grip up again.

Ah, ok, that is what the later versions should fix. You can try the last or the second last and see if they might help.
