Hi, I love the combo of driving Indycar on Sebring. But I am still struggling to get the camera settings right. How do you guys deal with the shaking and instability of the camera image? Please note my settings in the image below. I wonder if adding some g force effects would improve stability/reduce shaking? BTW why do Indycar not race on Sebring?

I make it very dependent on the way I drive. That means with or without motion. Without motion, as smooth as possible. With motion, it can increase the immersion if the two work together. Additionally, it's also important whether your screen moves with motion or is fixed with motion. Just test different settings until you get a good feel for it.

No motion or VR on my setup/rig.
@Xzanman at a low number as you suggest the car is really stable but the horizon bumps a lot. Give my combo a try and you will observe that.

What if you turn off legacy movement?

You are doing everything right at the moment with your settings, it's just Sebring is so hard on the car with the bumps that it exacerbates the built in camera movement and its issues. The camera in this game is, and has always been, an over the top arcade - like feature that was even worse than it is now - before the legacy option was added. For Sebring, I'd try setting head movement down to about 20-30 % to lock more to the car than the horizon, as the best you can do is try and find a balance between the world shaking (low % head movement, Legacy) and the car jumping around like a kangaroo (high % head movement, Legacy). Turning Legacy off will change the % ratio to how much damping effect is used to slow the jerkiness down, but you can never get rid of the car jumping around too much over kerbs and bumps, it's really how much you can live with.

Thanks a lot for this reply. Now I am also curious what your preferred settings are?

What settings do you use without motion, what do you mean as smooth as possible? I don't have any motion on my setup.
