Has anyone recently experienced the game stutter problem when racing online and other people are in the pits ? I took part in an online race yesterday, it was 18 of us, and half the people had stutters specifically when others were doing their mandatory 4x tire pitstops.

The game often stutters when cars do pitstops - I have had this when doing long single-player races as well; I just say this to say that I think it is a long-term problem rather than a recent change (i.e. since 1.6.5/1.6.6)

It's probably when the game loads their pitcrews. I turned them to "player only" a while ago and stopped having the problem unless I come into the pits myself.

While racing with the McLaren MP4/4 the turbo button didn't seem to do anything. I'm sure I'm misunderstanding something about how it works. What is it supposed to do?

Hi guys. I haven't visited the forum on a while. I just wanted the check if there has been an announcement or any chatter about the 2025 Stock Car Pro cars coming to the sim sometime soon. Watched a couple of races so far, amd they seem to be pretty cool cars.

Why does my assigned buttons on my wheel also effect the game menu and I have analogue menu control off?

Small question. On the main telemetry page, you click right twice to display ffb meter(without tyre info etc). If you click right again it displays the exact same page. Is this just an oversight or was there ever ment to be another page? Been that way as long as I remember, just never seen it mentioned.

The MP4/4 has adjustable turbo in the car's settings menu. The turbo button will only be effective if it is set to less than 100% in the settings. When using it on the track (holding the button down), it reaches 100%.

If I remember correctly thats how the patching works. Steam the moves files and patches the tiny bits inside those files. So it moves, unpacks, injects, packs, etc.

not every update requires a big patch of many things .
Some do though. And if your running your system that tight on memory then your going to have an inefficient system and your running in not recommended territory.
It’s time to invest in more memory or uninstall unused apps and games .

A 250gb ssd should be enough for a single game. as well as having 60gigs of free space to apply a 1gb patch. thats not a fault on my end. i can understand that there a big pakfiles, but there are no 60gb pakfiles in AMS2.

I always thought it was the case that you need the same amount of extra space on your disk that the size of the game is, doesn't matter how big the update is.

What error are you experiencing? My SSD is 250 GB and I only had 20 GB free before applying the update, however, I had no issues updating. During the update process, I noticed that over 100 GB of disk space was freed up (apparently, Steam uninstalls the game), and after downloading the new version, it installed it completely. When it was finished, my SSD was left with 18 GB free and working.

well this didnt really occure before i think this year, when i have large amounts of space and it doesnt let me update. Now i needed to delete the game, reinstall just so i can test the new cars. my download speed is fast, but thats still not ok going to have to make backups of all liveries etc

    Alll the liveries ?
seems there’s more to this …
How are you installing these livery packs ?
the old fashioned manual drop in folders or using Content manager?
are you also using mod cars packs ?
A lot of them seem to leave a lot behind in files , especially there livery files even when uninstalled by content manager.
