With the new update the Corvette Livery Overwrites can have the the frontgrille texture replaces (like Reizas 2024 AWA livery). Thanks for adding this feature, it's a small detail but makes a great difference to recreate the real cars

So the new Update screws with the BlueGreenMetallic shader. So the Aston Martin in my F1 2025 Skinpack doesn´t look like it should :D

F-Ultimate will receive an update, please wait
The final changelog is not finalized because there are still things to do but the aston no longer has this problem, you can check the override .xml for the new instructions (+ the new matte blue metallic shader)

Ah great, missed that it got updated too. Just checked it, it's really easy to add. Just add the body texture as Carbon too and if you already set the alphas correctly it just works without any needed modifications to your liveries :)

This one is quite strange. Last update added the CARBON tag to the Vantage for overwrite liveries to overwrite the Carbon texture. Now the Carbon tag does absolutely nothing anymore, so you have to add the livery of the carbon to the body again (which now works).

There is a concept in software development called a regression. That is where something is fixed, and then a change elsewhere / later inadvertently unfixes it, or "regresses" the issue. Congrats, you did some limited scope regression testing. And you weren't even in the beta, special achievement ;)

The last fix with the Carbon tag doesn't work anybody. Instead you can add the livery that is supposed to be on top of carbon directly to the body layer. So it's a 2nd fix that pretty much replaces the 1st fix

Looking forward to test the update. I was really expecting the Ligiers cars to be separated into different classes in the next (so, this one) update. Question, will it happen?

Hmm nothing has changed since the last time when it worked for you, what you describe is very strange
Edit: @Ace I confirm, I just tested it on the main release with the THOR liveries and it's completely functional

Unless you have a modfied version of racinglegends skin, it has all layers painted on the body texture and does not use the real carbon layer of the carmodel. It's easy to see by the painted on carbon instead of the actual carbon layer of the model
    ss214605.jpg

Here's the real carbon layer of the car in my livery. With the patch before I way able to create a .dds file for the Carbon tag, that painted on only the green layer to mirrors and wing plates. But this layer does nothing for me anymore. To get it running like below I now had to make all real carbon fiber parts invisible on the body texture (it's not getting overwritten by the real carbon layer anymore)
    ss214632.jpg

My only explanation would be that the layer sequence somehow moved?
Before it was live (Top to Bottom)
    • Carbon Livery
    • Real Carbon
    • Body Livery
Now it seems like it is:
    • Body Livery
    • Real Carbon
    • Carbon Livery (not appearing under the Carbon)
I mean it's fine to me, since I can just use the body layer for everything. Was just wondering why it was changed since last patch so I had to redo the carbon livery part :D

You must have gotten confused somewhere: the BODY and the CARBON are part of the same template and must appear on the same livery texture. To make the carbon appear on some areas, you must add a black alpha channel for them. This also works for the main body if you use the "default" base livery.
And my bad, I just noticed that I did the modification on the THOR livery from Racinglegend but I forgot it

Yes, you can use Alpha channel on Body Texture for Carbon. But nevertheless a seperate Carbon .dds reference that was added in the patch before and that worked, now the reference file does nothing :)

You can do whatever you want, use the main body or add a new texture (tested again, totally functionnal with a separated dds). But they are made to be on the same one as there is no overlapping between the paint and the carbon parts
And I confirm, nothing has changed between your successful attempt and now. Nothing that was possible before became impossible

Another livery for the IMSA 2025 pack is pretty much complete (might update a few details).

Paul Miller #1 and #48 BMW M4 GTD PRO
Again this is trying to be as accurate as possible, build completely from scratch. Which is honestly a bit of a pita with the pattern. But I think it turned out really well. This also includes details like the visible carbon fiber on the front left part of the livery and the key differences between both sister cars like the different frontend pattern, window banner and of course the correct pillar name stickers.

Here is the last GT3 I wanted to do from scratch by myself.
The Heart of Racing #007 and #27 Aston Martin GTD PRO and GTD
I ran a bit into the issue that it's hard to find great pictures from all angles of these cars to get the pattern 100% correct, so it might not be as precise as my DXDT or Paul Miller livery. But it's as close as I could get it from the pics I could gather from different sources. I also tried a lot with the livery base shader to color values of the livery to get the colors right, I'm quite happy with the result.

    Heart_Quarter.jpg
    Heart_Rear.jpg
    Heart_front.jpg

With this that's all liveries I wanted to build from scratch because these were the cars I was most interested in. So that means all BMW, Corvette and Aston Martin IMSA 2025 liveries are done, and the great news is I got all confirmations for the Porsche, Lambo and AMG liveries by other creators now too.

So the next step is to make one a big quality check on all liveries, maybe do some slight adjustments like color corrections and add the names on the pillars where it's missing on the liveries of other creators, and then make sure all created preview images are up to date to the used livery. So basically it's getting really close to the launch on the IMSA 2025 GT3 livery bundle. If everything goes as expected the bundle could drop before the IMSA 6h of Indianapolis on September 21st, I will keep you updated
