why is it that I have to run steam on my server computer, otherwise my servers crash dump, then I still need steam running or the login page running or the servers shut down. when this first came out I was able to shut down steam on the server computer without the servers shutting down, so why not now. I do wish Reiza would release a non steam version of AMS, as I would certainly pay for the privilege as I did with SCE, i bought the steam version first then the non steam.
Yeap it's problem. Want to host 24/7 server on my pc, but steam overlay...And couldn't play on my server, because game didn't start
Regarding playing on the same PC as you're hosting on, you can do that by launching the server, and then manually launching the game's executable (you can then join the server using the in-game MP menu and using your localhost IP of 127.0.0.1).
