I had a look at this in motec. The engine is producing 42Nm at 0rpm and the game is applying huge amounts of throttle (up to 100%) when the revs are below ~1200.

Was the clutch engaged and any gear selected? Maybe this engine torque at 0 rpm is engine brake, like when you park the car on a steep hill and leave it engaged, so not only the handbrake has to hold the vehicle.

This was sitting stationary in first gear with 0% clutch input. The only input from me was the brake and you can see when I started to release that, this torque got the car moving and was enough to get the engine running (I didn't use the starter here).
This can be done facing uphill so it's not due to gravity.

Sorry to drone on about this, but the moving cockpits in the Reiza rF2 cars really annoy me, even if it's not that much movement. Until this can be fixed, is there something I can do myself?

It's a "feature" not a bug. They programmed them to be consistent with S397 cars, not AMS. I agree, though, that the AMS approach is much better.

is it about this head movement/inertia slider? camera movement while braking etc?

Yep. Turning it off in rF2 (Lock to Horizon setting) sets it to high movement.

No they're not, because for all other rF2 cars I can disable cockpit movement by setting Lock to Horizon to off in rF2, but that doesn't work for the Reiza cars. Only for them.

Never had many chances to try the pack, but I can safely say that the AJR+Imola is one of my favourite combos. I love the car in AMS, I love how it handles in rF2 and can't wait to try it in AMS2

Will this update include an improvement on pit strategy for the AJR and MR18 and a BoP for the AJR different engine manufacturers? Right now they pit every 20ish mins so endurance races become easy wins because they are pitting so much more frequently than they should and the Judd is a clear runaway among the different AJRs while the Cheverolet is the clear back marker

Apologies for the delay putting this together folks. We got a new update to the Bundle items wrapped, and it should be deployed by S397 soon. Below is the changelog:
    • Imola: Fixed various reported wall collision issues and holes in 1988 & 2001 versions
    • Metalmoro AJR Adjusted aero pitch & yaw sensitivity; Slightly downgraded Judd V10 performance to better match that of other engine variants; Added turbo model to AJR Honda Turbo variant
    • Metalmoro MR18: Added turbo model; Adjusted aero pitch & yaw sensitivity
    • MCR 2000: Adjusted aero pitch & yaw sensitivity; Slight graphical height correction

So, no fix for f vee? Too bad, I was hoping it would get fixed. Well I guess it's time to get rid of rf2 for good.

Do you mean the excessive oversteer without recovery? That's rF2...lower the tyre pressures and brake pressure and see some magic happen, probably.^^

@Renato Simioni seems there is an issue with missing rear left brake on Metalmoro MR18.
A guy from rF2 Discord reported it too and posted a pic, hope it helps.
