Hello guys. I'm waiting to update from AMS to AMS2, but my rig only use VR headset to race. The madness motor has native vr support but my question is if this support of vr will have oculus native o will use openVR though steamVR. King regards.
Runs like a charm with my rift s, steam asks me to choose between runny as oculus vr or normally but at the end it just opens the oculus software anyways just go for it
Isn't there already an option to run the game in VR when you click Play? Also, focus in the main menu keeps getting lost, I have to close AMS2 through Task Manager, anyone encounters this?
Yeah I love this with the Madness Engine. It's a great VR implementation and I'm so glad its the same style for AMS2!
Hello! i was trying to create a shortcut on desktop to launch AMS2 in Oculus api. "-othervr" and "-vrmode Oculus" do not work. It always lanuches in SteamVR. What's the correct parameter? Thanks!!
Real noob here, I never realised there was an option to run in native Oculus! This launch option works a treat. I start the game from my Oculus games screen and all is running beautifully in Oculus native Cranked up MSSA to high and ss from 1.2 to 1.4 and I'm getting a great image with frames pegged at 80. Happy driver here Love this forum.
Can you be a little more explanatory? If i add AMS2 in the oculus library and launch from there, it will start in STEAM-damn-VR anyways....
@tonaz In your shortcut setting use this path to launch with Oculus : steam://launch/1066890/othervr Work fine for me with my Oculus Rift CV1
Well, Automobilista appeared in my Oculus library as soon as I had played it for the first time. I think the key to getting it to launch in Oculus native was adding the '-vrmode Oculus' in the game's launch options. Alternatively if you open your Steam app in Oculus desktop, go to your library/Automobilista, click play and the option to launch in Oculus native is there
