Just a quick question, sure that the FFB changes effect all cars? Some cars „feels“ way lighter than others in relation to FFB. Caterhams and F3 for example way lighter as Sprintcar. So in fact just for the sprintcar I would reduce the main fanatec FFB as recommended, because thats the one I experience a stronger FFB now. Edit: The Lacers are also with a strong FFB.
These all have to be further calibrated relative to each other. And then we will also get a per-car (class/series?) FFB setting like the one in AMS1.
It's one of the things the beta testers are helping with. Feel free to list all the vehicles you can with whether they are heavy or light relative to some middle one that is just right (when we find it!). If necessary, I'll copy and paste in the Beta forum to ensure it gets attention. The more people with their various hardware who all agree, for example, that the Sprint is on the heavy end of the scale, the more likely it will get tweaked.
Does anyone have the recommended settings for a Logitech G29 with beta 4? (I am in the beta, but dont have access to the beta forums)
still adjusting, default, 90, 10, 30 0 in that order, only with sprint cars, menu centre spring off in logitech menu. Like I say though still messing around but to me it feels great,
Tested FFB gain ingame, LFB and FX O, fanatec FF30% & AMS1 settings Brands Hatch BETA5 caterhams 65 F3 60 F Classic Gens 50 Sprintcar 55 SuperV8 50 Ultimas 50 Stockcar 40 Lancers 40 for sure this is personal „feel“. I looked for best overall car handling. So some could feel light, but the handling is good. Feel free to test. and to make it clear: thanx Reiza. Handling is awesome. I am surprised how changes to the FFB gain could bring you in “the“ control.
As a accuforce user beta 4 is quite different. Sim experience has release a beta plugin that I installed then created a setup from scratch. Initially I was struggling to feel the rear of the car but it was not until I added lateral G-Force that I unlocked how awesome the FFB now is. Gain setting in game at 40 and G-Force in sim commander4 set to 100. As other have said the difference in FFB strength between different cars is very large so I have had to create a setup for the different styles of cars in sim commander4.
Idle speculation but I guess if you had to add an effect lateral G-force then that info is missing from the RAW ffb from the game itself, or a good implementation of it.
I tried Custom on FFB setting instead of Default, just to see, and my g29 started a continuos strange vibrating . It's already implemented something ??? Reverted to Default and it's OK. Thanks
I own a T500RS too and I'm interested for an answer. I don't own A2 yet. I'm thought it have preconfigured setup for some wheels? No detection? Just asking, no offense
@ Neil. As a previous Accuforce owner I know that feeling and Sim Commander is amazing for making a game feel amazing. However I have now upgraded to a Simucube V2 and OMG. The FFB in this is breath taking. I love the F3 around Oulton. Subtle surface changes, feeling or grip and skidding. There is so much detail. For now I have it set to 20nm in true drive and 50% gain and FX 10%. I lower the gain for stock cars and alike as they are heavier and so much force is needed for fast or tight bends. As for the rear end that's subjective to how you perceive it. I get the feeling from the wheel coupled with SimVibe. And my FOV. Just my opinion, I'm no expert but I have owned a lot of different wheels from the G25 to Fanatec elite and 2.5, T500.
FFB is on the right way imo, its going to close to AMS 1. Pretty good feeling of driving, grip, forces and good info when you get the car on the limits. I use T300 with 75 overall gain in Thrustmaster (and 85 for openwheelers) settings and 100 in-game. This sim will be great, it is sure. Imo better FFB and car handling than in ACC.
Hey @ all, don´t know if this problem was discussed here right now, but I´ll ask my question: In Beta 4 I can´t drive because of the forced feedback. The overall strengh in my simucube software is always at 100%. But my wheel is spinning around even if I lower the strengh down to 4%. Undriveable. What shall I do?
