Now I see I have to configure my wheel again and have to edit all assignments again. This could be the problem. But right now I can´t edit the assignments. No reaction at all...

Problem solved: Had to change one thing in the forced feedback, Type from Custom to Defauld. That´s it!

i'm trying to configure the ffb on my G29, i've seen someone keep fx slider to 0, someone else on 30. is there a guide or documentation on what fx and menu spring sliders does? gain and low force boost are quite obvious. also, what's the difference between default and custom?

FX has been changed to only provide these effects: Brake-lock / Tire-Scrub / Engine Idle.

FX: Set to preference. I use 50 (as one example).
Engine-vibes can be changed by manually editing a config-file but, I haven't looked into how to do that.

Road bumps are integrated into the overall FFB and may receive some fine-tuning (by Reiza).

What's the difference between Default and Custom? I'm guessing the latter only if using an edited ff_custom_settings.txt file? Anything else?

Some have reported controller issues when using the "custom" preset. The best solution seems to be using the "default" preset.

thanks. I'm using fx on 30-50% and seems better. I hope will be a per car ffb gain in final release. is there a way to measure clipping?

I don't think they have a working clipping meter yet but, IIRC, Pcars2 has one so I imagine Reiza will offer their version at some point.

Sorry, but I have to use the translate.

For min, before beta 4 and 5, the FF despite not working on some zebras, it worked well for all cars.
After these 4 and 5 betas, some cars like the F3, the F Trainer, the Sprint Racer, have a good level FF, where the suspension feels working.

In cars like the Opals, F Truck, Beetle, the steering wheel is only too heavy or too light, but it hardly passes, or does not pass in any way, information on the suspension work.

Other cars also have similar situations with the FF, both in working well, as well as in not transmitting the desired effects, so I just tried to summarize something I notice with my Fanatec CSW

Should we make a new thread?

    BETA7

I just have bad clipping at VIRginia with the AJR.
SimuCUBE are full 100%, Game, too, but the full potencial will be cuttet with the software clipping.
In this corners, you feel it directly.

    Thank you for reading, Manuel

Blimey I run my Simucube V2 at only 50% gain and 20nm, I get no clipping because of the my gain setting but surely 100% in game and 19nm is really challenging? Anyways drop your in game gain the only way your stop the clipping.

It's the same Problem, like in AMS1.
I changed the Force in the ini-File from 11500 to 20000.
Thern, the force a lower, but no clipping.
If it ste SimuCUBE to, 25 and game to 100, it has clipping, too.
    Its a "software-clipping".

In Documents and AMS2 folder there is a ffb_custom_settings.txt. Have a look at that then change your FFB from Default to Custom.
