Gearswitch with wheelpadels not possible

Hello,

can anyone help me to solve the problem with the gearshift.
For me it is not possible to use the shift-pedals on my wheel, I can assign the pedals in the assignment successfully, but when I try to switch to the first gear in the pit it stays in N and doesn't switch to 1st gear.

I'm using an Fanatec DD1 with the F1-Wheel 2019 with the advanced Pedal set.

Have you calibrate pedals separate ? Then try to engage the clutch in pit before engage the shifter@Eliottk

That is an odd issue. I have a DD1, F1 2018 rim and the APM and have had no issues at all yet. All I did was map them and that was it.

 

I had a similar problem, I use a DD1 and had to set up a custom profile rather that selecting the DD1 preset.

 

I just use joy2key for all games that don't allow you to separately map paddles and stick. Assign "Q" and "E" to gear up and down in AMS2, and then use joy2key to map both the shifter and paddle to Q and E as appropriate.
