    Hi all,
since a long (SimBim GTR1) time I'm familiar with MoTeC Telemetry. In AMS1 there was a way to use it. Is there any chance to use it in AMS2, too? I don't want to have live data but I like to see and analyse what I and the car do on track.
I want to use MoTeC i2 Pro, can anybody help?

for AMS1 there was a plugin for data acquisition. AMS 2 seems to have something built in which can be used with RST Telemtry APP by RacingSimTools. It is a great software which I would use but I don't have (and don't want) a PayPal and so I can't buy it. So my question is, if it is possible to get the data into MoTeC the same way as it is done with RST Telemetry?

My understanding was that you have to license the use of the Motec data format. I recall that there was an arrangement in place for the isiMotor2 engine to be able to output that format which is why all sims built off that platform were able to output that format.

I believe AiM is free for the user. I wonder if it is free for a developer..?

    You can maybe check SecondMonitor.
On telemetry side it is not as good as RST, but it is free and supports pcars2.
I think AMS2 should work, too.

I agree, maybe up to 5€ / 5$ more and available on Steam would be ok

You can download RST Telemetry and buy a license via creditcard within the software
I did it and it worked perfectly -- no need of PayPal

Will It give suspension, damper, Understeer / Oversteer info ?
Actual question is "What info does the Automobilista 2 API send?"

pCars profiler works fine but doesn't give the suspension damper under-over steer info

Automobilista 2 isn't, although mentioned on the RST-site, in their supported channels list

It gives enough info about suspension and damper, for example damper speed, damper histogram, suspension travel. Ride high, rake, wheel loads, downforce info and so on are also included as well as a race engineer which gives you advice about driving and setup.
All in all, it's worth to have it, either just for a quick view or for a deep analyzing.
The only thing which is not so perfect, to have correct values in the charts, you need to overtake all your car setup data into the telemetry software. I hope that this will work automatically in the future.

I will stay with pCars profiler, it is free and gives enough information compared to the price

It's unbelievable, how this engine doesn't give us IMO tire temperatures?

It's currently on the detailed HUD page so I don't see why it can't and also display this info in the pit garage Ui..
