Advanced mode isn't compatible with every game, I have the same issues in ACC. Did you try other games? I just bought the TS-PC. In the past this steering wheel wasn't supported by some games. I think Trustmaster rewrote the driver making an new default (the normal settings) en renamed the old default to "Advanced Mode" The advanced mode is the most logical to choose, but it doesn't work
This question was a motivation to try it again, Thanks I just mastered to make it work, I opened F1 2019 and there it was, my wheel got recognized as advanced, so i left F1 2019 and opened Automobiliasta 2 to see my wheel was now recognized as a "Trustmaster TX F1 Advanced" and i could assign both d-pads. I use the left dpad to look in different directions and my right dpad is assigned to in-car management, push to activate and directions to navigate (i have the Ferrari 488 edition)
I can use the "Trusmaster TS-PC Advanced" as long as I choose the "Trustmaster TX F1 Advanced" in game. Will this make a difference for the delivered FFB, I don't notice a real difference so I think all wheels will use the settings in ffb_custom_settings.txt. is this true or has the game some specific setting per wheel compiled in the game-code?
So, the "Trustmaster TX F1 Advanced" doesn't show as an model option to choose from in your controller menu, then it must be my Ferrari 488 rim on the TS-PC that is recognized as the TX, sorry it doesn't work for you. We just can hope our models will get native supported by AMS2 in the future. I made a bug-report of this, also mentioned my RPM-leds not working
Having a similar issue. Other games recognise my F1 wheel (on a TX base) in advanced mode, but AMS2 only wants to recognise the buttons when in normal mode. I don't have F1 2019, and I have no clue on why having another game open would let AMS suddenly have the wheel recgonized. Any other ideas?
No, I also don't know why it worked when I opened F1 2019, I can't test it anymore at the moment either because I switched to a Simucube wheel
