A Hotlapping Question....

    Why is it that, in AMS2, when you exceed track limits not only is your current lap invalidated, but the same goes for the following lap?

    I certainly understand invalidating the lap on which the infraction occurred. But why get penalized on the next lap, as well? I find this pretty annoying.

    That should only be in the 3rd sector of a track. It's that way so someone cannot cheap the last sector of a previous lap to get a higher top speed down the first straight on the next lap.

    I thought one of the patches was supposed to have adjusted this to be less than the whole final sector, so that next laps were not invalidated unnecessarily? It isn't working like that for me though.
