Actually, you did which is the only reason I commented:

It doesn't matter in the end. People will believe what they want.

Well i should have wrote updates instead of physics updates because they of course changed many other things too. Whatever.

I think we need to be careful to listen to criticism without running people off. Let’s not be a closed group of elitists with no tolerance for unpopular opinions.

Be careful when using the fake head camera movement, it may introduce a fake illusion of "car" movement... Turn all that stuff out if you are using VR or motion rig.

Are you saying this forum should not turn into Iracing's forum? ;)

You should ignore the known trolls.
You were absolutely right about the car rotation now mended.
    Cheers

One man's troll is another man's freedom fighter :( surely we can cope with having a difference of opinion whilst listening and trying to learn about things from a different point of view

I assume this centre pivot feeling was only in "non cockpit" camera views? I cant imagine how one could get this impression otherwise. But at the end of the day, if even this impression has been removed for some people, that's also a plus (be it placebo or not).

I just want my off road stuff and stadium trucks :)

It's also interesting that sports car and racing car designers spend a lot of effort and money to ensure that the cockpit/driver is as close to the car's real pivot point as possible because that's the easiest place from which to control the car. Just try a Caterham where you are driving "from the back seat" to see the difference!

This is what I have thought too. I expect the camera on external views is relative to a centre point in the car, so any rotational movement in the car is going to look like it is pivoting about that point. There is certainly no way of getting that feeling from the FFB so most likely it is just visual cues making people think that way.

No, it was in cockpit view. But it is gone now, so no problem anymore.

It was from cockpit view indeed. I always drive only from cockpit.

What makes me still believe it was at least partly caused by physics or ffb is the fact that insin cars it was much more noticeable than others. And no, it was not because of different position on the seat. I have played sims since microprose formula 1 gp for amiga, i can tell the difference. First thing i always do is check the view settings, it was not the problem here, and it was no placebo either. Like OlaN said, problem is now gone so can we just get over it now and concentrate on good things that are coming soon.

Same first sim as me then! I am a retired mechanical engineer, have tried most of the racing sims since that one too, always cockpit view.

From what I recall the pivot point was in the center for Pole Position on the Commodore 64 too.

Yup I agree. Been addicted to the open wheelers but tonight decided to jump in the StockV8, another satisfying driving experience. Well done Reiza Team!!

Loving the Uno cup car after the last patch, feels almost as close to real life cup cars driven.
So many of the cars deserve another chance, struggling to find a bad one now ....

For me, the worst thing about the Puma is the lack of setup adjustability. Really had to pull some tricks to get it to drive how I wanted.

    Snap!
My legs dont reach if I sit on the bumper or roof.
Been cockpit view since playstation one, wouldnt have it any other way, except for replay where bumper view can look pretty good.
