    Yoo fellow racers,

I was wondering how you guys do setup your hud. Mine is as following: See pic.
I might put the rear-view mirror a few centimeters down because when I am looking at the mirror I do not clearly see what's in front of me.

Ideally I would love to race without hud, but I do not have a mini-LCD or tablet yet.

I would love to see some good layouts and get some inspiration aka stealing it yours, hehe.

    Yours,

    Marius

Here is my HUD setup. Same elements just differently arranged:

When you're on track, press pause and go in to options, there will be an edit HUD menu. You can then enable certain HUD widgets and move them around to suit your needs.

Someone show me a layout (with screen shots) that works for multiple types of vehicles. I can't find one/figure it out. The virtual mirror doesn't even work for all cars as some have a real mirror in the same spot!! HUD widgets seem improbable to ever get a layout that isn't covering key graphics in at least 1/3 of the cars.

I'm pretty sure one layout doesn't work for all cars. My layout does work for all cars that I use.

@geekhawkes It looks like this in the HUD adjust/set up. And then the result in-race.

Comments above make me hope they don't fix the VR HUD by limiting it to the mirror resolution or I will probably have similar issues trying to not have a HUD in the way of something.

Thank you, I will give it a try and see if I can get it to work!looks great FYI!

I think my issue is I am using VR and when I go into edit HUD I haven't had the same options displayed with brake and tyres but I will try again.

What is that digital display you have mounted on your wheel?

    It's a Renovatio SRD-9C,
    SRD-9C Series 2 - Renovatio Development
I've had it for a while now, I just bought the innards and made my own housing to fit on the top of the G29. It works well, you get a nice bright blue LED when you hit the top of the rev range, it's programmable to show umpteen bits of info, and it supports all the sims you would want.

It looks really great. I have been looking for something like this a long time. I just looked at the website, they have some really nice stuff. There is a guy that makes housings for Thrustmaster Peter Makes Things - YouTube and I have to check if the display would fit in to that housing.

The little mini hud is there just hidden behind the top right of the wheel, I didn't get the angle exactly right taking the shot, so the mini hud is in view just on the dash on screen. I do try and run it pretty minimal though, and in VR I run with it completely off, so I have to occasionally scroll through the hud screens to even tell what lap I'm on, but that's probably similar to real life club racing, or the days before pit radio.
Also, that led dash can tell you fuel/lap info as well.

My screen is completely empty. I use Dashpanel app on 8" tablet and get all needed info from there.
