Fixed Setup Override BUG/CHEAT - Inherited from RF1

Hello everybody

We are concerned and annoyed about a bug that allow users to apply a customized setup for their cars even if fixed setup has been set in the server.

Here is how it happens (the video is not listed Public)

Note that ir happens when you DRAG&DROP the setup file

This also happens in RFactor1

We will appreciate a solution ASAP as it concerns clean esports development

Of course. We agree. Reiza did and does a great job. We just want to find a solution. We have tried to modify UI interface to remove the button but it is prohibited to make modifications to original software.
We hope we can collaborate in test debuggin

I haven't seen this yet (tagged the wrong Hei(c)tor).

Just click, drag and drop the setup name? I'll try to reproduce it.
I can't say how fast this will be solved, given the load on the devs already, but it will get on the list definitely!

I´m an IT pro, so I understand that SW development activities are very hard and schedules are always short. But if you can give this a soon solution as far as possible it will be very good for the health of the numerous championships taking part around the world running in AMS.

I know this is an inherithed bug from RF1 but Reiza development team had proven it quality many times.

Is there any posibility to get this fixed soon? Many leagues are migrating to other platforms such as RF2 in order to avoid this problem

Please say that we'll have news in this fix.

It doesn't seem like something complex to fix (user desire).

We don't want to go to another platform.Unfortunately AMS2 is still too heavy for many computers, it's not an option for everyone yet.

Hey there! Just to weight in on this topic. There are still quite a bit of leagues rocking AMS1 and even having it as their main sim platform here in Brazil. I take part in one of them and we just got word of this issue.

I believe we all acknowledge the love you devs have put into this sim and, because of that, it is still being loved back by a fair amount of communities in simracing. Please, help us keep it alive. Unfortunately, it is a small bug but with huge impacts.
