Good morning Ladies (and fellow sim racers),
I'm pondering a question lately but can't figure it out myself. Maybe somebody can shed some light in to my empty brain.
With the AJR we have several choices of tires. Soft Slick and Hard Slick, as example. My question is, if I leave the tire selection on "Select by Weather" and I drive on a dry track, does it select the soft slicks or the hard slicks?
    Anybody? Buehler? Buehler?

Good question. That's why I hate automatism, you never know what's going on....
Isn't it seenable in the HUD?
As I remember, if it's on auto select and it rains, then in HUD is 'wet' for the tires.

No, there is no indication in the HUD.

Not even when you cycle through to the telemetry HUD? It was always there.

Currently I'm not at home so I can't test, but with the 'telemetry HUD' there's written above tires 'soft'/'hard'/'slick'/'wet'/'track' depending on which you have mounted. But if it works with automatic choice ? What's written then, 'automatic'?

With automatic telemetry page shows what tyres you have on. Just tried in sunny weather and automatic put soft slicks on.

Also on top of the screen, where it shows weather info etc. it shows what tyres you have on and the current pressure for them.

You guys are right. Usually I don't use the advanced HUD (don't even have a button assigned for it).
It does show soft slick when "automatic by weather" is selected.
Thanks for pointing that out. I'm getting old and now need a nap :p
