There is a possible bug in the setup menu.
Because if you activate any of the setup parameters and then turn the wheel to the left or right then the value is changed down/up.
    Activate
= click on the parameter with the mouse.
And its even enough if the wheel is stationary but turned slightly to L/R.
And no I havent double mapped my wheel to both wheel and raise/lower values.

ByTheWay: Eventhough I think its Reiza that have caused this then I know enough about computers to understand that there could be other reasons. Like an unknown alien hovering above my chimney interfering with AMS2..

Or perhaps it's a feature that allows you to use the steering wheel to control the menu

    Yeah extremely funny :)
But it would be a bit more constructive if you or another checked this possible bug out - so we could report it as a bug.
Or consider it as "alternative fact".o_O

Really? Why do you think there's a menu spring FFB setting

Dont know. Because of damaged legs Im only able to use a handcontrolled wheel without any FFB.
Thats why any "menu spring FFB setting" has no meaning to me and my setup.
But a funny way of defending a bug with a rather non-relevant question.

It's a feature but it's very annoying, so it would be much better to have a setting for fully disabling it.

OK so it actually IS some kind of a "feature"?
    Sorry I didnt know that.
But taken from @Gordie `s quote it looks like it IS actually intended.
If I had known that I would probably have been less sarcastic.
    Slightly.:p
But would maybe instead have argumented that this is one of the most idiotic "features" I have ever seen in a socalled racing sim.

ByTheWay: I just tried to find this @Renato Simionis "MENU SPRING" that he says only should "controls wheel centering spring only while navigating the UI".
Im completely unable to find it! Check pic of my "Assign menu".
Where can I find this "feature"?o_O

    OK thank you @SaxOhare :)
I have never been into that menu - for obvious reasons:D
    The value was 40:rolleyes:
And to explain why I was really fed up with this socalled "feature" is because several times some setup parameters had been changed without my knowledge just because I had opened the setup menu page with the wheel a few degrees to L/R.
And the reason for this is that sometimes you dont have to manually "activate" a certain menu param with the mouse because it is allready "activated"/active by opening the page.
Such kind of randomness is often called chaos:mad:

ByTheWay: Thank you for this knowledgement update guys:p

Hehe knowledgement update or not - I just discovered that eventhough I have now set this MENU SPRING to 0(zero) it doesnt change anything.
    Its completely worthless.
The values in the setups does still change if the wheel isnt alligned 100% in the middle.
So my conclusion is that this socalled MENU SPRING slider is just a placebo slider.

I think you have misunderstood the quote above.

Do you use a force feedback wheel with the force feedback disabled or a wheel which does not feature force feedback? If it is the latter then the setting will be no help to you.

If you have a wheel that has ffb you will need to enable it in the driver if it isn't already (you can usually use a game specific profile if this will be an issue for you in other titles) then in game set all sliders to 0 except the MENU SPRING setting. With such a setup force will only be applied to the wheel when in the menus and that force will keep the wheel centred.

The quite about being at or near 0 is purely about safety. DD wheels can be very powerful and the force of them returning to centre when opening menus can catch people out. With other wheel types much larger are reasonable.

    Thank you for responding :)
So I wasnt completely wrong by thinking this setting had/have no meaning for my setup:D
And by your comment I also understand that if you use a FFB wheel then this setting is not exactly what could be called placebo:p
