Thanks for trying to help out! Tried all of your suggestions, but nothing seems to fix it. It felt good (enough) before the latest AMS2 update, so idk whats going on. Recalibrated the wheel and all that stuff, but it's just not driveable anymore for now.

Maybe do a game files validation in steam Ams2 settings
If in doubt do a full re-install of game.
There’s been cases of people having mixed experience’s with update and it’s been cured after .
I did a full reinstall regardless because I’ve had issues with it in past .
You can save things you want to keep from your my docs folder and put them back later. Things like graphics settings etc.

Thanks! You mentioned black art, so i decided to try that the norwegian way. I soaked the wheel in blood from a sacrificed goat, took it outside to burn down some churches and made it listen to the first Mayhem album all night long. Voilà! It's working better than ever!

(I also deleted the documents folder, did a full reinstall, AND validated the files in Steam. That was just boring.)

Btw your file with the tweaks by @tUMi feels really great on my (now) satanic G29! Thank you guys!

Have been using your latest file on my CSW 2.5 for the last couple of of days having moved from # Custom force FFB File from Daniel V42. Really impressed with it thus far.

Glad you like it, I removed it because the F1 Classic cars felt too loose on slow corners, I have a newer one I'll upload in a bit.
    Here it is

Mind sharing your wheel + in game settings? I remember using a file of yours a few months ago and it’s never felt better tbh.

Hi, gain 60, lfb 0, fx 55. Then adjust gain per car in tuning menu.
    Wheel settings I think are
    Sen auto
    Ff 100
    Dri -2
    Strength 100
    Fei 60
    Brf 60?
    Everything else off.
    Cheers.

Hmm, for the moment I can only think of one or two things to help with this...

For certain cars on certain tracks you could try to decrease the vehicle specific FFB Gain from the vehicle tuning setup menu (or by mapping this function on your wheel button so you can do this while driving, for example). Increments of -5/-10 or +5/+10 from default value (100) should be enough to fine-tune the vehicle FFB Gain to your liking. Maybe that helps with the wheel pulling when hitting the curbs/sausages on the track.

If adjusting the vehicle specific FFB Gain is not an option for you or it doesn't have the desired effect on curbs/sausages, in that case you could try to decrease the values from these lines inside the file if you already haven't done so:

Logitech wheel user here, and I have no dead zone and a full center feeling, maybe try these settings if the other suggestions did not work fully.
(tighten_range 0) #Use for lower end wheel bases.
(tighten_falloff 0) #Use for lower end wheel bases.
(center_full 0.94) #0.0-2.0. Higher than 2 does not really do anything good.
    (centering 0.58)

Experimenting with the last two values can usually get the feel you want.

Sorry, just realised I meant to say Damping IN GAME here, not on wheel. Assume the same still applies?

No damping, no. I think that file uses the damping slider for power steering anyway.

Is there a profile that has a line for each effect that user could simply change as desired ????

    Eg:

    FORCES
    rack force
    Scrub frequency
    Brake
    suspension
    Acceleration
    Kerbs
    Bumps large
    Bumps small
    Grip loss
    Off track reduction

Tried many profiles some are pretty good
But some offer some adjustments but not others

Baseline Wheel FFB Values - Google Sheet & FCM. Universal

    Linearity (poirqc) and DRR

You will need to adjust the Deadzone Removal Range to compensate for washed out effects in FFB.

"As soon as you use Deadzone Removal Range, you must use Deadzone Removal Falloff.
Those 2 settings are tied together. If you don't have enough DRF, you'll get a squared wave osciallation when going in a straight line. An easy way to tune DRR/DRF is to set DRR 1/10th of DRR." - poirqc

    The G25 has a standard FFBbaseOffset-value of around 3.5% - 15%. This may vary a bit!

The G27 however has a FFBbaseOffset-value of whopping 18% or even more with the same settings applied.

The ideal value would be 0% for any wheel.

All that stuff was useful for PC2, but really not needed for AMS2. It's just going to confuse people, and Karsten and others have already provided us all with a suitable platform to use with AMS2.
