Making F1 league in AMS 2 instead of Official F1 22

Hello,

We are a community who makes f1 leagues in official f1 games in the last 2 years.
www.sourleague.com // our leagues offers prize pools for every season.
However, we are so sick and tired because of bugs and poor handling model of the official game. We are thinking to move our F1 league to another game and AMS 2 looks the best option in our hand.

I have few questions to be replied;
1- How is the multiplayer lobby system working? Can we create our own lobbies for league racing?
2- Can we close all driing assist?
3- Does DRS work same as real life? (able to use it if you are 1 second behind)
4- Is there a safety car? If not, will it be added?
5- Is pit-stop mandotory? Can we make it mandotory?
6- Is dynamic weather available for races?
7- What options do we have for race distance?
8- Do we have spectate option? Our leagues make live streams in twitch with commentary.
9- How is the qualify system working?

There are still some here that devs are aware of and, constant updates across the board are improving, monthly. The mp system will improve long term & holds lots of promise. (It does work)

Regarding DRS, obviously you need to pick tracks with DRS zone(s) for it to work

 

It is very easy and simple to create your own lobby. However there are massive issues with AMS2 MP and so far many league organizers have given up AMS2 because of it.

Given that your league pay prizes, I wholeheartedly believe you should avoid AMS2. It currently is way too unstable for online gaming and people can go crazy if something goes wrong for them, especially if there is money on the line.

Besides, as a host you don't have any tool to circumvent catastrophic events (massive disconnects, syncing issues). Imo AMS2 will give you a lot of headache.

The MP side of the game is definitely not ready for anything other than causal purposeless online races.

 

I really hope the online net code / user experience is sorted in ams2 it’s a much needed missing component
