    Thanks Matais and jusk.

    Got it and it makes sense. Can you also mix and match helmets with different cars. ie add the Mansell helmet to replace the Tracy helmet in the Newman/ Haas? Also do the helmets work across different chassis? ie move the Tracy helmet into a Penske?

    Forget that question - just read the readme file and I get it. Can pretty much switch and change everything. Mansell is about to make an unexpected return to Newman/ Haas.

    Excellent - that's why he's in there ;) (though he's not in the custom AI file yet - will sneak him into the next update).

    There are quite a few alternate liveries/helmets/drivers in the default xmls within comment tags. The helmets work on any F-USA car. The liveries only work where the chassis is the same, but you can for example switch a livery from Lola-Ford to Lola-Mercedes, etc, as we have done in a few instances to work around the current carslot limitations.

    I wonder if the 1991 cars are getting a new helmet model? I don't recognize this model in the pic Reiza posted of the MP4/6.

    There's an open spot for a 90s helmet... That would make a lot of the work already completed by myself and SaxOhare obsolete... Especially if they've managed to keep the insane warps out of it...

    F_Classic Gen 4 (the former Gen 3) now has only 8 spots for model 1 instead of 10, as it was before ( the McLarens are added as new models). Would be nice if reiza would tell us such things when releasing updates, now this try and error thing starts again. :whistle:;)

    Cannot wait to see all the racing suits come to life from this update onwards! Been fed up with great F1 liveries of today and the past but a generic suit. Will help with the authenticity, next best thing besides full on modding ofcourse

    when using custom liveries and ai in formula classic gen 1, 2 and 4, there are no drivers in cars anymore.:whistle:
