Hello everyone, Sorry, I cannot post specs because I am at work. I read through the older posts (2019) in regards to people experiencing stuttering in game. Nothing I have tried has resolved this for me. However, the odd part is that a week ago, the game always ran perfectly smooth on my PC (with all settings on Max) and then all of a sudden, I start it up 2 days ago and it is stuttering pretty bad. I can start driving and then about every 5-10 seconds it "freezes up" for 2-3 seconds and then releases and I hit the wall or run off track. This happens the entire time I'm driving. This is what I have done so far: -Shut down Windows processes and apps running in background. -Updated graphics driver (also tried an older driver) -Tried lowering shadows and turning off time scale in game (never had a problem with in game settings before) - Deleted game profile and created new profile - Disabled anti-virus software - Ran game as Administrator - Tested an old game (GTR2) and it was stuttering just as bad (never stuttered before) - Uninstalled and re-installed the game I am scratching my head over this because I feel like I don't know what else to do. Any advice is greatly appreciated as AMS 1 is my favorite road course sim. Thank You!
My PC specs: CPU - AMD A8-7600 3.1 ghz Windows 10 Home 64bit GPU - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti RAM: 8 gb
I get bad stuttering as well but it is usually caused by the AI pitting. I believe the workaround is to disable visible pit crews at this point in time. Your stuttering may be completely unrelated to this though?
Have you you game installed on the same HDD as your OS ? Some have reported that moving the game folder to an another disk than the OS help for some Kind of Stuttering. ( Pretty easy to do with steam whitout the need of a réinstallation). As other game are Stuttering now as well I would like more suspecting your OS or something you maybe changed on your HW recently ( sometimes as simple if USB port change for peripherical). Did Windows update since the problem appears ?
