Hello, I havent played for a few month du to too much work and I am now getting back into ams2. everything worked perfectly before. I have rebooted the game, had to reconfigure my controls with the new updates, nothing out of the ordinary there. I am trying to setup the red switch, right side as my brake bias switch for the cars. as it was setup before. however when i try to assign the switch, i have the following message; "invalid input" which means i cannot setup my regular switch to any command. did it happen to anyone before ? am i doing something wrong ? cheers all
Please try "MPS: Encoder" mode for your multi position switches in fanatec tuning menu. The game doesn't support absolute positions but only back and forth direction input.
I am not talking about the rotary encoders but the small red switches that are left and right of the encoders. the on on the left works fine, but the on one the right does not.. I will try and see if it works while in encoder mode. and i ll message back though
no.. still same problem unfortunately :'( in the fanatec control panel i can see they are working fine. you can see the blue arrow pointing up on the fanatec panel. i am really confused as to where it comes from. it was working before...
As far as I know, those switches only work in compatibility mode. So the base has to have the yellow light on. In the red PC mode, they aren't working in AMS2 on my setup, too.
If you have a backup of your former working "default.controllersettings.v1.03.sav" you could try to copy that in and replace the one not working.
