IMMERSION Modding Group mods

The F1 1990 Season by IMMERSION Modding Group is out now (you can get it here).

The mod completely overhauls F-Classic Gen 3 with a full set of car liveries, helmets, race suits, gloves, Reiza-style menu previews and custom AI to help recreate the iconic 1990 F1 season.



This is the first release under the IMMERSION Modding Group banner. This is a new name for the loose collective of collaborators behind many skinpacks and mods focused on creating a more immersive experience, including F1 1967, F1 1969, F1 1974, F1 1978, F1 1985, F1 1988, F1 1991, F1 1995, CART 1995, F1 1997, F1 2000, F1 2012 and IndyCar 2023 (with KAOS Modding Team).

***Please note***
This mod was tested with AMS2 v1.5.0.5. We are aware that a forthcoming game update will introduce a revised helmet template for F-Classic Gen 3. This means that while everything should still work as normal when Reiza’s next update is released, the helmets will look weird/broken. This is completely beyond our control. We plan to make updated helmets to work with the next release as soon as possible.

 

Just to mention that (as we warned above) the 1990 helmets are currently 'broken' due to the change in helmet template. Everything still works fine - the helmets just look weird.

Are the F-HiTech cars on your list? Would love to see a complete set for ‘91.

 

F1 1991 is already done, and even if we can still improve it here and there, you have a complete package below :

Oh, sweet. Thanks! I assumed they needed to be revisited for the new F-HiTech cars.

 

The F-HiTech generations represent 1992 and 1993 rather than 1991. Unless you don't care and want the '91 skins on the Hi-Tech cars but that would mean a not insignificant amount of extra work for the squad. They'd be better off spending that energy on accurate sets.

 

Ok. Thanks for clearing that up. I assumed ‘91 because of the new historical tracks from that year.

 

We might do something for '92/'93 - we have some of the helmets, but there are already some options/WIP emerging elsewhere. We'll see

1994 could use 1993 cars without aids (if possible of course).
1995 would benefit to just BOP formula V12 and V10 Gen1.

 

Why does this list of stuff we have done not include 1994? Because we haven't done it. Why haven't we done it? We're kinda busy Might we do it future? Maybe

 

i didn't mean that. I know you guys are really busy. what i thought was that the 1994 wasn't in your future plans

 

i see it in another way. Thousands of sim racing drivers around the world driving Senna car or trying to beat him can only make us keep the memories. I live 10 minutes from the Imola circuit and sometimes i go to the circuit and pray. Legend never dies and he will be happy if kids try to beat him. i would be happy to keep the memories alive forever
