Fanatec Clubsport DD / DD+

Hi guys,
I am considering buying one of the above. Can you tell me if AMS2 will be updated use the new Fanatec Fullforce software, & if possible when this is likely to be available.

I don't wanna be that guy buuuut... after what happened with Fanatec and the Christmas/Black Friday fiasco, should you really be considering them?

Just saying, some of the other brands definitely look like better options

To answer your question though, you have to see what games it supports since Fanatec is the one who needs to do something. I would expect it to be added sooner rather than later

Indeed I was one of the people affected by the Black Friday fiasco, in fact my order was dispatched yesterday! I am already heavily into their ecosystem & at my age, changing completely is probably too expensive.
They seem to have got their dispatch back on line?
The reason I am considering updating is Fullforce, but this needs to be integrated into the game by the game manufacturer as it involves more use of the game telemetry.
Hence my question to Reiza.

It was well before black Friday that they were having serious issues. I just got out of their ecosystem because I think they are despicable.

 

When something breaks on my rig, I will be buying a different company too

 

Oh yeah fully agree - it's just that it took such a monumental blunder as the Black Friday fiasco for many customers to finally wake up

Cannot recommend enough Simagic if that moment comes.

Its a shame, for years i wanted their gear because they were the market leaders but i reckon they have also fallen behind in tech advancements and build quality. They became complacent it many areas and i think it is starting to bite them on the bum.

 

I hope people have woken up, they were doing record sales for months apparently. when all this was going on.

 

I ordered a Clubsport DD on Friday & so they say, it’s already been despatched, so we shall see. I’ll keep you updated.

 

I've had the DD+ since February, upgrading from a DD Pro/QR1, and it's been a fantastic improvement. The responsiveness is excellent, no more clipping, and there's absolutely zero flex thanks to the QR2. I'm extremely happy with this base, although it's disappointing that no games currently support the Fullforce FFB feature. It would be cool if AMS2 was the first game to support it.

 

Yes, it would be nice if AMS2 had the pioneering role in this matter

 

Is there a way to have a working display and leds on clubsport dd+? I have to choose a custom wheel to get the base to work
