Hi guys, sorry to bother you but since yesterday AMS2 won't launch. Yesterday morning I played AMS 2 for a while and yesterday afternoon I downloaded a mod via Content Manager into the game. Since then it won't start/launch it stays on the REIZA screen and nothing happens. So I did the Steam integrity check twice. To no avail. Then I just deleted AMS2 and re-installed it. But again to no avail.... Anybody? Thanks Cheers Robin
There are various config files to be found in /Documents/Automobilista 2. Maybe one of those is acting up? I recommend to make a backup of the folder or rename it, run file integrity check again and retry. If it works, copy your config files in one by one to find the one that's acting up or simply reconfigure your graphics and controls settings.
I don't know which files I have to delete or rename? So I just deleted the whole AMS 2 folder in documents(I already made a backup of the flawed AMS 2 folder in Documents yesterday) and the whole AMS2 folder in Data: Steamlibrary And just re installed, but AMS2 still won't launch. Which files in what place I need to be looking for? Cheers Robin
Well, if you already removed the documents folder then you already did what I recommended. I would've placed bets on the graphicsconfig file being corrupted.
After wat you stated above I first 'deleted' a graphicsconfig blue thingy .To no avail. And again I totally 'deleted' the AMS2 folder in Documents. It's still stuck at the REIZA screen.... Cheers Robin
Thanks guys, and yes it was the GHub, I'm now on an older version and AMS2 is working again! I had some issues with the Content Manager but now it's all solved! Cheers Robin
