As the previews will have a different size in game version 1.6, there might be no release before game update. Just be patient.

 

The plan is to release the F1 1999 after the 1.6 update drops.

 

Are there any plans for the 95 Skin pack update???

 

Yes ! Helmet textures for all drivers, XML selector up to 8 different scenarios with more drivers, new car previews.

What about 1994 mod season ??

 

1994 is a forbidden year in AMS2.

 

You could get away using the 1993 cars with 94 skins but honestly the 95 skinpack is perfectly fine once we get the helmets fixed

 

Wasn't 95 skinpack for V12? I do not like V12 because Benetton and Williams and some other teams were high nosed, and that Benetton Bitburger skin does not look OK on low nose car. I think High-TECH Gen2 could be better choice for 1995 season skins.

Hello there...congratulations for the outstanding mods, they are impressive! Sorry for the stupid question...I'm using the 1991 and 1993 mods, and I see there's a driver xml file which basically set the IA drivers ability (Qualifyng skill, Race pace skill, drinving in the wet and so on)...so I guess is that file that makes the difference between cars as they are just different for liveries but they have the same exact power, aero etc etc?

 

The custom AI file configures the relative strengths of the AI opponents, and to a large extent yes - the cars have the same power/aero, etc - so we have to compensate for that by adjusting the drivers skills accordingly to try to recreate the historical performance levels. That said, the cars aren't all uniform - each year/series in AMS2 has a few (e.g. 3 or 4) different car models, which have different baseline performance - and there is also a vehicle reliability variable that we can set within the custom AI file.

Mika Salo, driving for Arrows in 1998, was left without a full-time drive for 1999, but he later served as an injury replacement for both Ricardo Zonta for three races (after his accident during practice of the Brazilian Grand Prix), and Ferrari's Michael Schumacher for six races after the latter broke his legs at Silverstone. He scored one second place and one third for Ferrari.




A wrist injury to Luca Badoer led to Prost GP test driver, Stéphane Sarrazin, making his F1 debut at the Brazilian Grand Prix. It would end up being the Frenchman's only ever race in the series.


It was the final season for 1996 F1 World Champion Damon Hill.

 

Hello, this looks fantastic. One question: is there an update to the V10 Gen 1 formula planned? I noticed there were no marks (Goodyear) on the tires. Kaos made a great 1996 mod but I enjoy 1997. Thanks for your great work bringing the immersion to a high level.

 

Looking forward to it....are there still plans to update the Formula Reiza / F Ultimate Gen 1 class? Seb Vettel/Lewis Hamilton settings?

 

Hello folks from IMG! First of all I want to thank you all for the amazing work in all those mods. AMS2 is a great game, but my F1-brained self simply cannot play it without the proper F1 cars and drivers and the work that you do in bringing all those seasons to life is amazing <3 I also wanted to ask if you guys also accept applications for more folks willing to help! I'd love to use my skills to help, if possible.

And on that note, I don't know if that's too nitpicky but racing in the 2000 season I noticed the Arrows cars have Orange branding on both sides of the rear wing. I do remember distinctly that only became a feature in 01 and 02, as in 2000 the team had orange on the front side of the rear wing and Eurobet on the back, like in this picture.

I hope we get an update on Ultimate Gen 1 class it would be amazing to have proper helmets. I also hope that the 2012 will receive helmets because that was an one epic season.
