Steam Achievements Brainstorming Thread

Maybe at some points we see Achievements in AMS2, so lets do some brainstorming and come up with fun and engaging achievements.

Globetrotter
drive in every country available in the game

Not a Sprint, but a Marathon
drive a total of 24,901 miles (40,075km)

Now a Caipirinha!
Win the Stock Car Brazil Championship

Mamma Mia!
Reach 350kph at Monza

Adrian!
Win a Race with damaged aero parts

Thats a nice Watch!
Win a 24h race at Daytona (24h ingame time)

In AMS1 there's several achievements that are bugged and don't work, so my first request for AMS2 achievements is for them to work.
I hate luck-based achievements and grind-based achievements, I like achievements that encourage good driving.

Mr Clean
Complete a clean race (minimum 10 laps, 29 opponents)

Expert driver
Win a race with all assists disabled and using manual gears

Rain Master
Win a race in the rain with all assists disabled and using manual gears

Track Master
Complete a clean lap at every track location

 

GOLASSSSOOOOO
Score a goal using a football

Have you ever?
Win a race by 0.01 seconds or less

DNF from the lead of a timed race at LeMans with 3 minutes or less left (race must be at least 45 minutes long)

Lap of Gods
Complete a lap that's at or under 6 minutes and 11.2 seconds at the 1971 version of the Nurbergring Nordschleife while using the Porsche 962C

Quicker than the blinking of an eye
Win a race at the 1975 version of Silverstone while driving the Formula Retro Gen 2

Grand Slam
Finish first in practice, qualifying, and the race while also setting the fastest lap (AI must be at 90% or higher)

La Risque
Win a race with a wet track state while on slick tires (AI must be at 90% or higher)

Tasman Champion
Win a race at the 1983 version of Bathurst in the Formula Vintage Gen 1 (AI must be at 90% or higher)

Triple Crown
Win a race at Azure using the Formula Ultimate Gen 2, The Indianapolis Oval with the Formula USA 2023, and Lemans with a LMDh (must be multiclass with GT3 Gen 2) (AI must be at 90% or higher)

 

I would change this to any car which raced at those tracks

 

Keep in mind that content-dependent achievements should not require DLC content.
For example: "Reach 350kph at Monza" requires DLC, while "Reach 300kph in the F-Vintage" (a similar achievement in AMS1) can be achieved by any AMS2 owner.
Yeah, I know… the DLC-based achievements can sound more exciting, but I think we can find creative ways around that limitation

 

Agreed, but we shouldn’t limit it to just non DLC content

 

As I'm not much of an achievement hunter, I'm not sure how DLC achievements on Steam work, but my understanding from XBox/PlayStation is that base game achievements add up to 100% and DLC achievements allow higher completion, e.g. 115%.
My uncertainty is not if we should, but if we could (based on a technical standpoint from what is possible on Steam).

Here are some ideas for non-DLC variants of the previous suggestions:

Globetrotter
Drive at a track from every continent in the game (South America, North America, Africa, Europe, Asia, Australia&Oceania)

Mamma Mia!
Reach 350kph on a track in Italy (Imola as non-DLC fallback)

Track Master
Complete a clean lap at every track location in the base game

23:57
DNF from the lead of a timed race with less than 3 minutes left (race must be at least 45 minutes long)

Lap of the Gods
Beat a famous lap record. (Either: 6:11.2 at Nürburgring 1971 in the Porsche 962C, 24.852 seconds at Fontana in the F-USA G3, 1:23.998 at Azure in a F-Classic that has H-pattern, or 2:08.465 at Bathurst in the SuperV8 – the last lap record there set by a Ford or Holden)

Lap of the Senna
From a standing start positioned 4th or lower at Donington GP in wet conditions, be in first position when starting Lap 2


And some suggestions of my own:

Money Shift Master
In a car with H-pattern transmission, win a race by driving the last 10 laps/minutes in a single gear
(Inspired by Senna at Interlagos 1991)

Window Shopper
Complete a lap with every vehicle in the base game

You Got This One
Driver swap in a race and let your teammate cross the finish line and win

 

CHEESE GROEMIT
Crash into the cheese bridge

 

Some non-DLC ideas then!

I'm going for first!
Win a race at any British track in a Group A car

Domination
Win a race by 15 seconds or more (AI must be at 90% or higher)

Time traveler
Drive the Formula Ultimate Gen 2 at any historic track

Size doesn't matter
Win a race while driving the ARC Camero

Well that blows...
Finish a race under safety car

Cutting it close
Run out of fuel within 45 seconds after finishing a race

 

I've seen a lot of Steam games that have achievements that require DLCs, so including them in AMS2 wouldn't be an issue imo (especially if it's track-related achievements that could be done in MP with a friend).

 

Wrong Way
Drive 1 km in reverse gear

I'm fine!
Win a race with a mechanical failure

Kart driving on grass reminds me of a lawnmower. Reiza needs to implement proper net physics.

 

Racedriver 3 had racing lawnmover. If i remember correctly Honda.
Would be cool to have that too in AMS2
