Instead of a thousand words, just download and check it yourself. But the problem is that the G29, to put it mildly, is an extremely bad device and any settings for it do not matter. It's like tuning a donkey in the hope of making a horse out of it.

The main thing is that the feedback provides information about the state of the front and rear axles - everything else is a whim at will.

I think that's the point, stripped back to basics!

I´m new at this community. Does anyone have FFB settings for the VRS Wheel Base?

    Hi,
I like your file, but the curbs are not felt (too low) - In reality the curbs are felt on the stain.

Hi, thank you so much for your help. I know this is a question that has been asked many times, but maybe because of my poor English I couldn't understand: what does Damping do? If you keep it high at 100 or low at 0 what will be the impacts on the base

I really like this. Another person surprised by what a few lines could do. It makes the GT3s feel nice.

If I could combine that rack feel with the additional forces of rFuktor NDef_imm it would be amazing. (I tried but have no idea what I'm doing, so it half worked... but probably broke some things ).

Im going to post this here too.

Add 10-15% to "Wheel deadzone" It's actually an FFB deadzone despite its name. Together with the custom Rack_force file this works wonder and gets me closer to that AC feeling.

It calmes the center of the wheel and reducing noise and thus making weight shifts and actual inputs that you listen for clearer. AC I believe has some FFB deadzone by default.

    On a simucube 2.

Anyone else here use a Simucube 1 aka small Mige DD still? I'm currently using the Default+ with the gain at 40 and turning most cars down to 80% or less, otherwise the cars are driving me. I still also have those crazy oscillations if I just barely relax my hands on the wheel.

Guess I'm asking if anyone with my setup has tried any of these custom FFB profiles...?

    Hi guys

I just got myself a CSW 2.5 yesterday and i try to setup it up with the ATMOS Mod V1.6.1 (4-rFuktorBaseEVO + Partial NDef_imm)

Have any of you found the sweet spot for this wheel? :) Or point to a post - This is soo different than my old G29 :D

    I set it to:
    73-75 gain (depends on car)
    LFB:1-3
    FX 30-33
    Damper 5-10

    Base settings:
    FFB 100
    DRI 2
    Spring and Damper 0

im a CSW 2.0 owner, but the NM and build are the same :)
i'm still have some "red bar" and the histogram, so i just lowered the value of kerb effect scale in the file settings to 4.00.

    Hi Dave,
I have the same wheel as you and am finding all this overwhelming. Did you ever find the perfect custom setup for it for AMS2? There are so many variables to change and play with it seems like a full time job.

No, I've just been using Default+ since 1.6 dropped. I have the Simucube software at 80% and the in-game gain at 40, then turning each car's FFB down as needed. I just want to try something else to see how it feels and if it's better. I actually prefer the feel of Default over Default+

Thanks, I started using it with Fanatec DD2. It feels great. It's such a simple yet amazing FFB.

Great news, everybody! GamerMuscle has saved us all a lot of trouble and crowned “The Best” custom FFB file for AMS2! Can we please add “SOLVED” to this thread’s title and have the moderators immediately lock it?

Also, @Alex291190, you and your ideas are, as always, most welcome here, so please don’t misconstrue where the punchline intends to land.

Im sure he means he made it feel more like the ultra realistic AC, the best sim in the world that every pro driver uses for training....

Luckily we can all form our own opinion :)

And I do have to agree with him this time. The rack file excels in communicating what the car does imho. Nothing more, nothing less. No frills. I love it. Many might disagree, some might be shocked but it feels a bit like Raceroom ffb to me, which I love as well.

I would say that the one thing that stands out for me with this file is the self-correcting nature of the wheels. Just feels natural to me.

Note; I'm a terrible to chap to trust if you want a realism comparison. Never driven a car anywhere close to racing speed irl :)

I spent a few hours today adjusting the dead zones and sensitivities of the accelerator, brakes and steering, and, at least in my limited perception, I wouldn't be surprised if I discovered that these controls are pure placebo for those who have a steering wheel. On the gamepad I can clearly see the difference, but if I set all dead zones to 100% and sensitivity to 0%, I can't see any difference using my t300 rs.
