I play in VR. The opponents cars sometimes suddenly disappear at a certain distance (experienced this in online multiplayer). In single player they loose details after a short distance already and sometimes they loose the whole front of the car so that I see only the back of the car. Looks like it was cut in 2 pieces with the front missing... Are there settings (maybe ini-files) where I can increase this distance so that the LOD stays good? Sorry for my bad English... I hope those LOD settings aren’t the reason why the VR-performance is so good compared to other games...
Yeah, they will probably fine tune LODs during early access process. E.g. AI Kart drivers are not displayed after at few meters from me in VR
for me it's still an issue! (I check after each update, and till this date , I see the kart drivers disappear when they pull away approx 50 meters from me ) I have car and track details set to Ultra ... is there a hidden setting where I can increase the distance for switching to LOD B ? or is there a fix so that LOD B also still has a driver?
