    Hello,

I'm having a problem with my Fanatec DD Extreme base. I lost the return of force (FFB). This is the second time this has happened. The first time, I uninstalled and reinstalled the game, and it worked again. However, this time it doesn't work anymore. The steering wheel is completely soft. Do you have any idea what caused this problem?

    Thank you for your help,

Does it happens with other games as well? If yes, then I suspect overheating or perhaps the PSU being faulty. I would RMA it. Also I heard about connection issues of the Fanatec DD, etc. Please update the driver to 463.

    Hello,

I have the same Problem for 1 year now. First we had the Fanatec Base 2.5 with the BMW M3 GT2 RIM. After intense FFB the Power of the FFB is lost. I thought the base was broken so I bought the Clubsport DD (you have to imagine!). Then installed the new QR on the BMW Rim, testet the DD Base and same problem! FFB is getting lost after intense simulated road bumps or oversteer events. With 12 NM FFB strength the problem occured more often then with 6 NM strength.

After the latest Fanatec Firmware Update and driver update the Problem is much worse! Just some easy bumps and FFB is lost but does not come back. FRUSTRATED and no help...

The problems occures in AM2 only. Tested Assetto Corsa Competizione, rfactor2.
I also tested the McLaren GT Rim with no problems.

    Regards, Martin

Have you installed Fanalabs or anything else? Strange that it also happens with the Fanatec DD and only in AMS2 as well.

I am just using Simhub for controlling 2 bass shakers (front and rear axis).
Should i check something with Fanalab?

Do a couple of tests without Simhub and report back

I found the solution! It was a hint of a guy in an different forum.

He recommended to turn off the motor for vibrations (SHO = off ! )

Testing now for 2 hours without any problems! Oh my dear.....that was a long story!
But anyway, I will also test without SIMHUB and SHO on. I will give feedback

    Merry Christmas!
