dont no where to put issues so thought id add here to see if anyone in reiza can comment
    Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo EVO2
spectral file does not work if you set to chrome
ive tried several times and do the same config as i normally would
add trans to body add fres for chrome
add spec and alpha for colour but it does nothing
you can see the fresnel layer on top of the body but the spectral layer is never visible
works on other cars could you advise

secondly who was the genious that changed all the livery config all modders liverys including mine have had to be re done or scrapped as the colours after 1.6 where all out of whack.

@Quantummodz Well, at least your message has helped to highlight a problem in the override system of that specific car :D The materials used in the override system are not the right ones, Fix will be in the next update.
For your second complaint, could you be more specific? I haven't seen any other messages from livery painters about this kind of issue.

    @robillard3381
firstly glad i was of help and my findings correct the response is good new ( dependent on when next release is released )

second comment i think would be respective to effects "chrome " in specific when you did the 1.6 - F1 livery's re vamp you gave chrome full throttle. i think it was to enhance the greenmetallic fects ect ect. Anyway it effected a large majority ( most ) of my skins for example chrome effect in photoshop original set to 180 180 180 had to be adjusted to 80 80 80 i have contributed a lot of skins on race department and anything with chrome or metallic needed adjustment ( it looks over exposed ). i clocked this at first when playing after updating to 1.6 update. i still have not yet finished changing them all to look correct .

also preview changes which i like so again have had to change all those also
i presume if you only created a few skins or didn't used trans / spec / fres files it would be no issue but if you have a large library of work then it had a bigger impact. hope my info helps

I've tried to find a suitable example to illustrate what i noticed while updating my preview images

original image taken from original 1.5 loaded on race department
    race department original .png

After the 1.6 update i noticed the chrome is much more intense
    after 1.6 update.jpg

    corrected
    - this is how it looked now after re adjusting Fresnel file to match original
    before 1.6 update.jpg

my point is this is one example showing i did nothing to the file but the image displayed had changed hope it helps to clarify my point.

I'm not going to comment other than to say... if you're trying to do the livery I think you're trying to do from this year's IMSA grid then I am very excited for you to get it working!!!!

EDIT: oops i misread and thought it was GT3. I apologise

Does anyone know if we’re allowed to use Reiza liveries as a base for custom liveries? Is it okay if we say that we used it as a base?

Does someone has some tips for doing the ingame previews, in ordner to create them like the original ones? I'm not able to find the correct position or even the correct lightning.

Trial an error mostly. I take a photo in the garage and then use the pen tool in photoshop to remove the back ground.

This is the angle I shoot for:

    Then isolate in photoshop:

    And save as a DDS.

I think that modding sometimes finds itself in a somewhat ethically grey area. However, modifying someone's IP and then presenting it as your own, and possibly monetizing it via "donations" is black and white. In my opinion, if someone is going to use the Reiza liveries as a base, they should make it clear that it is not original work.

IP theft is something that is very near and dear to me, so I probably look at it much more critically than I should. That's my opinion, but Reiza's is the one that matters lol.

It's impossible for me to find the correct position for the alpine. I've tried around 20mins but I just cannot get it right :D

Furthermore it's so much work to find the same position for the four created liveries...

Edit: I'm getting used to it. I hope i can create some useful previews ;-)

My best advice for consistent previews is always use the same focal length for your camera, then line up a spot on both the left and right of the car with a couple of spots in the background of the garage so you have a visual cue on if you’re lining things upright. Other than that though wish there was a better way to do things.
