Troubleshooting - Automobilista 2

Hi, the pilot's vision is in "drone camera" mode, and although I put it in "Cabina Chamber" mode by clicking on the "photo mode" button, it is not fixed and gets back into "drone camera". I have tried several times and always stays in "dron camera". What can I do to change it to "Cabina Chamber"? Thank you.

After the update 1.6.3.5 when I play on races with full or almost full grid my car become low on quali and races. It looks to not happen on free practice. In offline races it happens with the AI cars too.
At the time trial and races with few players the game still the same.

 

Hello, AUTOMOBILISTA 2 very often closes and I get a BUGSPLAT message, I uninstalled and installed the game and formatted the PC and it keeps happening to me.
Has anyone had this happen and have a solution?

Hello! Unfortunately, since the last update in the game, I have had total failures of the wheelbase (Simucube 2 pro). When I close the game and restart it, the base is only recognised again. I select a car start - everything works normally. And then when I change a setup in the box (or open another menu, change cars) and then want to drive again, the wheelbase fails completely - even when calibrating it no longer responds
- it is no longer online. I already have over 200 hours of playing time. This problem suddenly appeared with the last update V1.6.3 . I don't have any problems with the base in any other racing game (WRC 24, DR2).

Edit: I solved it myself: Deleted (reset) all steering wheel profiles in the game, closed the game. Started AMS 2 file check on Steam (48 files were reloaded). Deleted the ffb_custom_settings under Documents, Automobilista 2. Restarted the game and reset everything. Steering wheel works perfectly again. Solution took about 30 minutes.

 

I’m trying to run AMS2 from steam in VR mode and there is no way. In the monitor it's working properly.
Once the Reiza Studios logo appears in the monitor the header stuck in the SteamVR virtual field with the small logo of Automobilista 2 and “next up” label. The game in running in the monitor even the monitor refresh is going to 15 or 20 FPS instead of 240FPS (if the refresh if I start the game in normal mode).
I lost head tracking and need to restart SteamVR to make the headset to work again.

All other games in VR are starting fine. No problem at all. Just start them in VR mode and they work an I can play for hours.

I'm using a PSVR2 headset with SteamVR on Windows version 24H2 and my machine uses a 9800X3D and a RTX5080.

I tried to replace the default game openvr_api.dll with the one available on OpenComposite site but same problem.

I uninstalled and installed again the game. I deleted the Documents folder. Muy windows user name don't have any non standard character.

I can share all kind of game/steam debug logs if they helps.

Hope I can have support from Reiza Stusios if no user having experience with this problem.

Hi,need some help on this issue:
I have noticed that when I go out of the game (pause) with alt+ tab to start another app or briefly look something up on the net and then go back into the game and want to drive then the game runs at 60 fps as it should but stutters and jerks as if someone is constantly stepping on the “software brake”.session restart does not help, only the whole game.
I didn't have this with win 10 but now with win 11 Home.
Can anyone help me further. Thank you very much.

 

I just tried setting up my new SHH Shifter and had the same issue. What worked for me was to put the shifter into the gear I wanted to assign first. Then after clicking the assign field, take it out of gear then put it back in. So for example to assign 1st gear I put it in to 1st, then clicked the assign field for 1st gear. While it was waiting for my input I took it out of 1st to neutral, then put it back into 1st. Repeat for all the other gears and that's what worked for me.

The issue I am having is that the shifter will stop working and I have to unplug it and plug it back in again to fix it. I don't think its an issue with ams 2 though, either a faulty shifter or a USB issue.

 

Since one of the latest updates, I noticed that in all my replays (either in-game instant replays or full race saved replays), the steering wheel movement is about 50-60% of the real movement during the gameplay.
Is it something known and acknowledged? Or is it only me?
I am pretty sure it was working correctly at least until 2 months ago.
Maybe there is some settings I am missing?

 

Triple screen again not work , i changed the settings from doc file in the UI not moving frezzing , everything was Okay , i was away from home , i come back , update the game , triple screen not active anymore , please help or advice thank you

My problem is create championship multiclass. Working single player race and multiclass score but not work create championship multiclass. Settings good multiclass cars and players ok, select class point and save but playing game not working class just one class. Any solution this problem? Sorry my English.
