Just upgraded from stock Thrustmaster T300RS to T818 + Evo 32R. When I launch AMS2 with the wheel powered on the loading screen showing REIZA takes longer than usual and then my wheel will disconnect before the game finishes loading.

If while the game is running I power off and power back on the wheel it will pick up the wheel fine.

The same issue also occurs in Le Mans Ultimate, however, the wheel works fine in Assetto Corsa, ACC, and Dirt Rally 2.

    Things I've already tried:
    • Clear AMS2 documents folder
    • reinstall Thrustmaster drivers
    • changing USB cable
    • changing USB port, tried back of pc, front of pc, powered hub
    • Disabling steam controller settings

I have a T818 and don't have that problem, but my simagic haptics do disconnect in AMS 2 as soon as I try to drive. Do you have any other wheel besides the Evo 32 to try? I also have that wheel, and will give it a go when I return home.

I just tried the old T300 wheel with the quick release adapter and that seems to work fine. Getting a replacement EVO 32R from Amazon now and will update if the replacement works.

I found my problem with disconnects with simagic shakers and it's not AMS 2. The force from the throttle shaker pedal knocks my pedals offline. Working on solving it. Hope the new wheel is the solution.
