Hello guys. I am incredibly frustrated with Long Beach pit exit line. No matter what I try, even following AI being glued to its rear I keep getting "unsafe pit exit" warning. Every single time. Where the hell is damn limit there please? Not talking about speeding, it is the "cross the white line" type of warning.
Hello, You've to move all the way until the end. There's a blue or yellow line that will stop and then you can safely cross.
There's a blue line that turns yellow that runs along the pit exit, if you cross that you get a warning, it goes pretty deep into the corner but you can clip the end of it and be fine. You also can't extend over it while racing or you'll get a track limits warning. See left of my car: And where I turn in for the corner, you can run over the end of it and be fine:
Oh lord. I was stupid, did not notice the second part. Honestly horrible shadow shimmering in VR does not help much here. Thank you guys.
And now to somehow survive the first lap roundabout mayhem with AI killerbots... real weather threw me into wet race start . I wish the AI aggression toggle was variable: for whole race "high" is too low because they build trains anyway, but for wet start with different physics (AI 108 wet boost 1.2) they are insane (hypercars).
For me it's turn 8 - every race sees an AI car in the wall there at some point and it's impossible to avoid if you don't know about it (ie. no flags). I cannot really complete a race on the track as is.
I've had great luck with Long Beach but that was all in previous versions of the game. I haven't tried it yet in the latest build, but it's the next race on my championship schedule (IMSA simulated GT3, GT4, IMDF) so we'll see how it goes. Thanks for the heads up! EDIT: I just ran a full 2 hour race (LMDH, GT3, GT4) and it seemed to be fine. There were I think 3 full course yellow flags during the 2 hour session. I didn't witness anything so I don't know where they occurred, but it seems to be what I would expect.
