Had a really great time this week using the BMW 2002 Turbo. Exploring a different setup path that ultimately led me back to the default settings. Top marks to Reiza for this car.
This is such an awesome car, and I've had such a brilliant time using it. As ever, the racing in the vintage classes is close, fair and hard-fought with high risks of error.

Going live tomorrow at 9am UK Time / GMT time in the penultimate round of my custom F1 1991 vs 1996 Championship.

 

I made this video a while back, I had intended to re-make it, but just can't seem to find the time at the moment, so I'm electing to release it as-is. The information wouldn't change in the new version, just the presentation.

Anyway, I hope anyone racing GT4's find these values helpful. And anyone racing other classes with adjustable brake ducts can follow the process to find their own results for their respective class if they feel the need to.

After leaving the last race at Curvelo very impressed with the BMW 2002 Reiza default setup, I thought it would be interesting to run it on a wet/drying circuit to see how/if the balance shifts with the reduced grip levels.
As I've said many times before in my videos, a consistent balance over a range of grip levels is a great sign that the setup of the car is sound. Doing a race in this way is a very worthwhile test to help verify your setup direction.

Automobilista 2 / What Happened To Your AI?

As I wanted to do a race at Suzuka with the 1986 F1, I just couldn't do it, as the AI all of a sudden for whatever reason was completely broken!

 

It's been a while and I was so happy to get back into a Mini again. Very pleased to report that the VTC Mini now feels much closer to how I imagine a Mini from the 60's to feel on the race track. As ever, they produced very close racing, and the multi-class environment added in some additional randomness and jeopardy.
