Automobilista 2 Mods!!!

There's a new class of GT4 cars available courtesy of Thunderflash, with more on the way, apparently. Get the drivers here.

 

I downloaded the names update today after I played the GT4 mod yesterday. But I didn't see any names change. They still looked like the ones from yesterday. But I also tried to run a GT3 Gen2 race and it looked like those names were fictional also. There wasn't one real GT3 driver name listed. Could it be because this was a GT3 Gen2 only race and not attached to one of the championships?

 

Did you remember to use the zip file you want and not use the big one?

 

I don't understand your question. I put it into CM the same way I did the older one.

 

The name mod comes with 4 zip files inside where you have to select which one you want to use

If you just use the main zip file it wont work

 

So this is different instructions than the previous one? What is the difference between the 4 files? Two of them say something about AI.

 

To get real drivers into all the car mods for AMS2, install ONE of the following archives using AMS2CM:

z - NAMeS Real Drivers for AMS2 Mods

or

z - NAMeS+AI Real Drivers for AMS2 Mods

The "+AI" in the archive file name indicates that all drivers have individual AI attributes, whereas the version without the "+AI" includes just the drivers names and nationalities. There may be some scenarios (e.g., multiclass races and/or when activating classes that include both Reiza and mod content) where one version (i.e., with or without AI) may be preferred.

If you also use all the extra liveries created by other modders that add different skins to car mods, then install ONE of the following archives in ADDITION to the one selected above:

z - NAMeS+skins for AMS2 Mods

or

z - NAMeS+AI+skins for AMS2 Mods

Once again, the "+AI" adds individual skill values to those drivers. These +skins versions are simply add-ons that update the relevant livery names to match the extra skins out there. Keep in mind these +skins archives include edited AI files for ALL mods that feature extra skins, so be sure to grab all of the extra skins, too!

 

Does anyone know how to swap the engine audio from one car to another ? I've been able to extract the relevant csdbin files but since there's no way to repack the .bff files I have no idea how to do it -_- I've seen mods that have achieved this so I know it can be done can anybody help please ?
