Sign in Error: Steam is Not Running

    Hello, every time I try to launch my game, the game says steam is not running and can't connect to the server. Can someone please tell me what in the hell is going on? My steam is in fact running and I am online on steam. I've already reinstalled once and it fixed the issue but I will not constantly reinstall to fix this issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello there,

    Sorry to hear you're experiencing issues with AMS2 and Steam. Please make sure you've tried the following steps:

    • Reinstall Steam
    • Ensure that Steam.exe is set to run with administrator rights
    • Confirm you're using a legitimate copy of AMS2
    • Verify the integrity of AMS2’s game files via Steam
    • Right-click the Steam icon in the system tray > Settings > Downloads > Clear Download Cache
    • Check your router and internet connection
    • Make sure your antivirus software isn’t deleting or blocking AMS2.exe in the installation folder
